Could everybody please do me a favor try and shorten your signatures if you have more than 3 quotes - try and keep them to 3 quotes or less.. Also, you don't have to post your signature file more than once per topic - it does not make much sense to a one line reply then post your entire signature again.

I don't want to eliminate the signature option but at the same time I hope everybody can shorten them if they are really long and not post them more than once per topic. Thanks!

I know this may sound snotty...but it isn't how i meant for it to sound...but why is it such a big deal for the signature to be over 3 quotes?

because these are not 'free' message boards, I have to pay to host them and once I reach a certain level of space and bandwith I will pay even more.. plus it is just annoying to read a one word reply then scroll through a whole page of quotes in somebody's signature file. The little 3 1-line quotes aren't a problem, it's the signatures with quotes/scenes which take up a whole page or 3/4 of the page. I know they give people an identity or personality, I just don't want to see them overused.

I think it's a simple request everybody can follow, the other option would be to disable them entirely.

I don't even look at a person's signature line and quotes. I scroll right past that kind of stuff.

I shortened mine to 4 quotes.

No way. It's fine. Mine could be considered long and if anybody complains about mine, I can remove a pic.

That's just the problem. I mean if you have kind of a long sig, it isn't as bad if you only post it once per post. Yeah, I know I forget at times. I have gotten better with unclicking the sig option.

It's just annoying to scroll through a person's posts that posts the sig every single time. My computer is slow and I'm sure some people have even slower computers. I don't want to sound like a broken record, so I'll shut up. :D

Yea, I agree. Ohh.. I have a really bad habit of forgetting to unclick the sign. thing. I started doing it a while ago and got into the habit of it, but then I had a really short sign. so I figured it didnt matter, but seeing how I constantly change my sign., I broke the habit. Its hard to remember sometimes. Ill try and be more careful!

Nah, your sigs never bothered me or my computer. It's the big ass pics like Rainman had that really slows my computer up.

Your sig pic isn't showing up for me. Attach the pic to a post and right click on the pic and go to properties. Copy the link from properties and go to the User CP and go into the sig part and put the code there. Remember the [IMG] codes.

I don't know if mine's too long...but its for a great thing thats happening!!!!! LOL

I'm trying to keep it short. I shorten the Buffy image, when I get my photo program fix I shorten the DS image too. Thanks Jenny :)
