View Full Version : How many Fans like L&S just as much as they like Happy Days or do you LIKE L&S Less?
TVFactFan 01-25-2004, 05:01 PM I would say i like L&S a tad bit more because I wasn't a fan of the Happy Days Seasons that were not filmed in front of a live studio audience. L&S was always filmed in front of a live audience and I give that show the slight edge.
dlemond 01-25-2004, 05:05 PM I like the first three seasons of Happy Days- after that it is hit or miss with the episodes (and I don't like any after Richie and Ralph leave).
Laverne and Shirley I may like a little more.
Actually I know I do, but I'm not sure why.
robyrob 01-27-2004, 08:19 AM I love them both pretty equally, although it truly depends on the episode AND the season, i just wish they were both ON more
tiff7 03-22-2004, 04:41 PM I luv both HD and L&S the same! :)

Stormtracker TF 03-22-2004, 07:34 PM I like Happy Days more for sure. Im a fan of Laverne and Shirley though, its great.
Mr. Television 03-23-2004, 01:09 AM I'm a fan of both but I like Happy Days slightly more because I didn't care for L&S's California episodes.
richheart 03-23-2004, 10:51 AM The early Laverne and Shirley was better than the current Happy Days. But few shows equalled the early Happy Days.
Laverne and Shirley also had a funny concept - two working class girls. I don't think it has ever been used again, before or after.

I was wondering the point of Carmine Rugusa on the show. And on Happy Days I was wondering the point of Roger after 1980.

What I never understood was that Carmine was Shirley's boyfriend throughout the series and then she went and married someone nobody's ever heard of.

I been watching L&S for 2 weeks and still don't know what Carmine does for a living or where he lives.
and why the hell he guest starred on Happy Days as Fonzie friend when him and Fonzie never hung out together on L&S-LOL
richheart 03-24-2004, 01:48 PM Carmine had to be a friend of Fonzie. Fonzie was friends with Laverne and Shirley so it only made sense.
Also, Fonzie, Laverne and Carmine were all Italian. Shirley must have been Irish.

Fonzie and Carmine never talked to each other on L&S.
jhc2010 03-26-2004, 03:39 PM I love how Lifetime airs Laverne & Shirley and TV Land airs Happy Days both at 11am ET!
