I never knew him but some of his old friends like Mando from Chico And The Man, Luis Rivera & Miguel have posted on some of the Freddie sites about him. You'll want to join all those sites & read what they say as it's interesting. Also 2 fans who got to know Freddie, Melissa Byers & Wheeeone come on here sometimes & have shared their experiences here.

Here is what Melissa wrote:

Couldn't find her other posts tho...

Wheeones site is here:

Hope this info helps...

I wish I had known him. I watched CATM in the 70's like everyone did back then & liked it but wasn't into him then. I got into him thru the re-runs on TVLAND. How I watched it back then without getting into him then I'll ever know. I guess it is John Travolta & the Monkees fault LOL!

Cheryl,
Thanks for posting the links to these two wonderful sites. Melissa and Wheeone...thank you for creating such beautiful places to visit to reconnect with Freddie's roots. I love the fact that Wheeone decided to only post positive memories of Freddie and not bring all the negativity into her site. Thank you so much. I wanted to email you personally but cannot find your email address. Thank you again...I just revisited your sites and it made me feel so good. Thanks Nikki for asking about Freddie. I hope you grow to love Freddie as much as we all do on here. He was kind, giving and so very young. Keep that in mind as you search for information.

Nikki,
There are other wonderful sites to visits, such as Freddie's Cafe and Ed Brown's Garage, just to name a few. Please if someone could put up the links to all the other wonderful sites for Nikki that would be great. I'm not really good at that sort of thing.

Thanks!

Macca,

Thank you so much for your words regarding my Freddie site. I don't post much but I stay connected by reading the boards. I would like to echo your words on all of the wonderful tribute sites for Freddie and encourage La Huerita to visit them all. The loving energy you will come away with is a gift I like to experience often. The loving circle of this "Freddie Family" is a testimony to the infinite imprint left on our hearts and in our lives by one incredibly talented, sweet, sweet man.

Thanks also to you, Cheryl , for including my site in the links you posted.:rainbow:
