I've read all of the Murder, She wrote books (except the one thats being released in April) and I can't get enough of them ( even though I'm only 14.) One of my favorite books so far is "The Highland Fling Murders." One of the resons I liked it so much was because of the famous Inspector George Sutherland of Scotland Yard. In this one George confesses his love to Jessica at his mansion in Scotland. In every book that introduces George Jesscia says that they are not romantically involved but the idea dosen't seem unpleasent. I want Jessica and George to hook up!! They are mean't for each other!!!! Tell me what you think! ;)

I LOVE George Sutherland!!! (I'm only 15...I've read all but three..Destination Murder, Murder in Moscow, and, Murder in a Minor Key...I was never a fan of Jessica going to New Orleans, I've heard not so pleasant things about Murder in Moscow, and I just haven't been interested in Destination: Murder, yet..besides..i like them in paperback, and it's not out yet in paperback...) My favorite is "Martinis and Mayhem"...hehe...that one is a good George one, too.:)

Allow me to climb upon my soapbox for a moment...
 :soapbox: The books in general, I have a difficult time reading. A lot of the things he has Jessica doing are sort of far fetched in my estimation. More so, though, the things he has Seth and Mort do are totally mind numbing, to me...I mean, some of those things I read and I go, "Have you EVER watched an episode of the show?" Not to mention the editing...I'd like to edit one of those books...if for nothing else to pick up on all the open quotes, missed commas, etc., that I find while reading that apparently, whoever edits them, misses! I've e-mailed Mr. Bain about that before. He said something about there not being enough time...or editors...etc..etc...nice excuse, I suppose. If that's what I wanted. I suppose, I tend to be very hard on authors. Especially those who try to write about something that they don't understand/know about. It just seems to me that this is the case with Donald Bain/Murder, She Wrote.

I've also come to realize, through reading the books AND watching the show, that Angela Lansbury's complaint about Jessica thinking like a man is completely true, and she is interpreted that way A LOT.:soapbox: *climbs down off the soapbox*

Thanks. I'm done with ranting for now, I guess. It just irks me, sometimes.
