Allen who played Lance on The Cosby Show has a new movie out that came straight to video last yr called Blue Hill Avenue. The movie is about him & 3 of his friends who became drug dealers when they were young & they were still drug dealers when they got older. They were sorta like gangstas. Clarence Williams III was also in this movie & they worked for him. Angelle Brooks was Allen's wife in the movie. Angelle used to play on The Parkers & Malcolm & Eddie tv shows. I think she also played on VIP tv show as Pamela Anderson's roommate. This movie came out 3 yrs ago but it just came to video last yr. It never came to theatres. I actually liked this movie. Brandon Hammond who was the little boy Ahmad in Soul Food movie was also in this. It looked like Allen had a s curl or a jheri-curl in this movie hahahahahahahaha.

I just bought this on dvd but I haven't watched it yet. I read alot of positive reviews online so I thought I'd pick it up and check it out. I'll probably watch it this week.

I'm with u Marvin. I'm tired of the gang bangin, drug dealing, growing up in the hood movies too. Isn't Boyz N The Hood, New Jack City, Juice, Menace II Society enough? I guess for young black people it's not. They like to see those type of films & what they don't realize is that we're getting exploited. Most white people think that's all blacks are about anyway. Allen Payne was on All Of Us tv show last night.

I liked Jason's Lyric too. I like the sex scenes that him & Jada Pinkett had in the field & on the counter at his job. Jada said that wasn't her in those scenes, she said it was a body double. Yeah right LOL. It looked like her to me. I also liked Allen in CB4, New Jack City, The Walking Dead movies. LOL@Eddie Griffin's perm in Jason's Lyric movie.

Allen also appeared in a BET "Arabesque" movie called "Commitments" a couple years ago. It's available on vid and dvd. Another movie he did "30 Years To Life" will be on home video in April.

I saw Commitments. That's a good movie. Victoria Dillard was Allen's woman in the movie. She played Denzel Washington's wife in Ricochet movie & she was Larry Fishburne's woman in Deep Cover movie. She also was having a affair with LL Cool J in Out Of Sync movie. She's very attractive. Her & Larry Fishburne were a couple for a minute back in the 90's when Deep Cover was out. Rapper Fredro Starr of rap group Onyx was also in Commitments. I was surprised to see him in that cause he always plays a thug or a criminal in his movies LOL. I liked his character in Sunset Park movie.

The worst Allen Payne movie i've ever seen is A Vampire In Brooklyn. That movie was horrible. John Weatherspoon, Kadeem Hardison, Eddie Murphy, Angela Bassett was in it. All these actors wasted their time with this flick.
