My life revolves around these things (I know, it's sad, but I'm totally hooked). I've taped the Golden Globes and Oscar telecasts for the past six years.

I need a hobby ;)

Yup, I'll probably watch, I love award shows, and I like the pre-award shows because I  seeing what and who the people are wearing.

As much as I love Johnny Depp he and his gal pal looked homeless.

And let me not get started on Al Pacino looking depressed and needing a comb.

I was pretty happy with the winners. I'm really glad Bill Murray, Renee Zellweger, Diane Keaton, Sofia Coppola, and Al Pacino won. I'm also glad 'Lost in Translation' and 'Lord of the Rings: Return of the King' won for best films.

LOL@Pitooey talkin about Johnny Depp & his girl. I'm glad Charlize Theron won for best actress for her role in Monster movie. I'm a Charlize fan & she is so hot.

LOL........... Isiah I agree with you Charlize is beautiful and I loved her gown. I also loved the lilac gown that Uma Thurmond wore.

J-Lo had a nice color gown too. All in All I enjoyed the telecast.

 So true. Pacino had major bedhead.

Charlize Theron, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Christina Ricci and Jennifer Lopez were visions of elegance.

I guess we're all supposed to pretend that Nicole Kidman looked great in her Star War's getup.

Also, Meryl Streep needs a new stylist and makeover, in my opinion.

I loved the Michael Douglas montage film. He deserved the award.

I loved the show. I watched it from start to finish.

I enjoyed every minute of it. I also love the interviews before they go in. You get to see who comes across as genuine or fake too.

I've always liked Johnny Depp but I thought he appeared quite ignorant at the Globes, not even looking at people when they were talking to him and being rushed around by his bodyguards like he were the crown jewels. Why does he bother showing up if he so obviously hates the experience.

The Duchess of York who you think would be snooty and surrounded by 'her people' quite happily chatted away to interviewers and seemed really nice.

I thought Nicole Kidman was a little tipsy handing out the award to Clint Eastwood. Bless her.

Didn't like JLo's dress. Bright salmon wasn't it?

What?!? Did these people actually watch Lost in Translation? Or as I like to call it "Lost in my Memory." It's so utterly forgettable. I saw it while in the theater, and a couple weeks afterwards, I completely forgot I had. How could anyone call this movie a comedy? Even in the 1 or 2 parts where it was trying to be funny, it just fell flat. Nice cinematography.. not much else nice about it.
