View Full Version : The Fantastic Anti-Madonna Thread!
Steve M. 01-22-2004, 10:42 PM In the interest of leaving Madonna fans to their own threads to talk about how wonderful she is, I've elected not to rain on their parade, but instead start my own thread on how she sucks. So here we are:
"Like A Virgin" is sung with an annoying vocal and has a lousy arrangement.
"Like A Prayer" is the worst song of the past twenty years. "Justify My Love" isn't even that good.
Madonna's acting proved to be the greatest news Pia Zadora had since learning she was going to become a mother.
What's the difference between Madonna and Pia Zadora? Pia Zadora can sing.
What's the difference between a Madonna video and a porn film? A porn film has better music.
An album of remixed, remastered versions of her old hits? Well, if your new stuff is so bad no one will buy it. . . . Except that with her old crap she's rechewing the cud and spitting out something that tasted putrid the first time.
Madonna supports Wesley Clark for President. Not surprisingly, John Kerry is now leading in the polls! :D Never mind that Madonna lives in London now.
When Madonna wrote her first book, she thanked her editor for teaching her how to spell. No comment.
Madonna said once that her most inspirational moments come to her when she's on the toilet. This explains a lot about her recordings.
Alright, my fellow Madonna-haters - let's hear your gripes!
BlackKitty87 01-22-2004, 10:50 PM Holy ****! Buffyslayer79 was right....
Steve M. 01-22-2004, 10:59 PM No, she was afraid someone would post an anti-Madonna diatribe on a pro-Madonna thread. . . .I did not do that. . . . I started a separate thread! Dig that?
Dean Winchester 01-22-2004, 11:05 PM even most people who hate Madonna can admit to liking SOME of her songs. Even my mom who detests Madonna admits there's a good 5-10 songs she likes.
Like A Prayer is the worst song of the past 20 years? I'd love to live in that alternate universe where every other song is THAT GOOD that LAP is the worst. LAP is probably the greatest song Madonna ever recorded.
I also love how Madonna bashers make fun of her acting.... LIKE MADONNA FANS DON'T REALIZE SHE IS THE WORST ACTRESS ALSO!?!
Remixed And Revisited was almost all remixes of songs off her last album anyways.
Madonna is the queen of pop music IMO. I personally hate Mariah Carey with a passion, but you don't see me posting countless threads about why I think SHE ruined music (you say Madonna ruined music... I say Mariah has. Mariah is responsible for blurring the line between pop and hip hop, and her and Jennifer Lopez are both responsible for why most pop fans cannot listen to the radio anymore, because they made rap popular with an audience that would've never touched it before)
P.S. I also hate the way people who hate Madonna (know about 20 of them) who paint Madonna fans as ONLY Madonna fans. I have 2000 cd's, I enjoy Janet, David Bowie, Prince, Cher, Bjork, Elton John, Abba, Fleetwood Mac, Jewel, etc... and that is just icing on the cake. But to people who hate Madonna.... "we ONLY like Madonna". Someone on a board of another 80's artist I like who dislikes M was calling me out about being a Madonna fan, "why be a Madonna fan? why not like Pat Benatar or Cyndi Lauper or Joan Jett?" except the Sherlock never actually took to realize that I DO LIKE ALL THREE and have even seen those 3 live... but since I'm a Madonna fan, I obviously cannot like other artists.
Steve M. 01-22-2004, 11:17 PM LAP probably is the greatest song she ever recorded, but that's like being the finest ice hockey player in all of Ecuador. :D :D
Ewan's My Man 01-22-2004, 11:29 PM Ahh...this topic made me laugh. I'm a HUGE Madonna fan mind you, but this definitely made me laugh. Glad someone finally started a topic where all the Madonna-bashers could go. Y'all bash away...I'll come back when I need a laugh. I'm not laughing, like...making fun of you...I'm laughing b/c it seems that all the anti-Madonna people know all this bad things about her...and those things amuse me.
Ok...go on go on...
Like a Prayer was a GREAT song btw :happyface

¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 01-22-2004, 11:38 PM I love a lot of Madonna's 80's songs, but when it comes to her.. she doesnt nothing for me. Its like, I like a bunch of her songs and stuff, but if she were to go on tour or whatever, I could care less- even if I won free tickets. She just doesnt do anything for me.

oh my god. he has the right to express his opinion without being laughed at. last year i had half the board against me because i just didnt happen to like avril lavigne and i still dont forgive them, except for maybe one person. and i hope they all die by the time i get my cream soda shaved ice from bahama bucks tomorrow.

well, it's not that he dislikes Madonna, but that he rips on her like it was still the Virgin era. She's a legend now and he rips on her as if she was Hilary Duff or something. She's come a really long way from the time she wore a boy toy belt and a crucifix bracelet, and everyone else can see it.
Whether or not you like her music or not, you cannot deny she is an icon.
Like I stated already, I hate Mariah Carey (well, post-1995 Mariah).... BUT.... I cannot deny that she has a powerful voice.
Anyone who trashes Madonna so bitterly has obviously never actually listened to the Like A Prayer or Ray Of Light albums (both of which make a lot of "best albums of the last 20 years list").... it's time to "forgive" Madonna for Material Girl... it's even worse than those who refuse to accept that Justin Timberlake has grown and gotten better because they still hold the N'Sync image against him.
Steve M. 01-23-2004, 12:05 AM I heard "Ray Of Light," the song in a restaurant. I wanted to leave but I hadn't paid the check! All her nineties stuff is rotten, but not as defiantly and definitively rotten as her eighties stuff!
A legend? Yeah, a legend in her own lunchtime! :p
By the way, this is a thread for Madonna bashers. Okay, I posted anti-Madonna posts on pro-Madonna threads, but I promise not to do that anymore. Now that you've littered this Madonna-bashing thread with your pro-Madonna posts, we're even. Okay?

omg!! i didn't post laughing at him! i posted b/c he MADE me laugh...the thing he said about "Madonna having her most inspirational moments on the toilet" and stuff like that...THAT made me laugh. B/C I'm a huge Madonna fan, and it's not like I have friends that are anti-Madonna...so I'm never hearing this stuff. I find all the things he said quite amusing. Hell, some of my favorite SNL skits of all time are the one's making FUN of Madonna. I don't care that he doesn't like Madonna. I agree he has every right to post an "I hate Madonna" thread. Music isn't just talking about the good...and everyone agreeing...some people dislike artists and they should be able to talk about that as well. I'm all for this thread, they can go on and on about how they hate her until they turn purple, doesn't bother me...well...unless they turn purple and die...that's not good...but you get the point. I'm a Madonna fan, I love her music, I have posters of her on my ceiling, however if someone doesn't LIKE her who am I to tell them off?
BTW...read my first reply again...b/c I said "I'm not laughing, like...making fun of you...I'm laughing b/c it seems that all the anti-Madonna people know all this bad things about her...and those things amuse me."

I believe I hated Avril Lavigne more than you, everyone used to practically attack me whenever I mentioned her name. I will always cherish the arguments I had with Kristina.

lyk no dood i h8 avril more than both of uy kjewliez lozl
And yes, I know all my Avril arguements rawked punk style k? Everyone freaked out when I said Avril was punk, it was amusing.
Dean Winchester 01-23-2004, 03:31 AM just to clear the air, I will confess that I am not the biggest fan of Madonna - the person. I used to think she was "so cool" during the Blonde Ambition era, but it seems like she has gotten really hypocritical as she's gotten older and suddenly trying to be "older and wiser". I also do not like the way she treated Carlos Leon over THEIR daughter, she promised him she would raise Lourdes a Catholic for him, but however she has gotten her kid into that Kaballah cult crap (which has actually made Carlos very upset). I was cringing when she was getting all moral on David Letterman's refusal to marry the mother of his child.... when she of all people blasted marriage on Oprah's show back in 96 right after her daughter was born.
But... despite all this. I do think Madonna is a great entertainer. She's not the greatest vocalist out there (I don't know any Madonna fan who really does think she is in Streisand or Celine's league), and she is a horrid actress (I admit to liking a few of her movies, but all of them she's in essence just playing herself), BUT... she has lots of charisma and balls. Plus, she has never stopped maturing artistically. She's not someone like Jennifer Lopez who will whore herself to the lowest common denominator trend in order JUST so she'll have a hit (you can say she whored herself during Erotica... but that was one of the most non-mainstream albums of her career, so it's not like she was doing it while singing sugar pop songs). Which is why as she's gotten older, she's attracted more and more "unlikely" fans, people who would've never had the time of day for her type of music in 1984.
Plus, Madonna, like many others, is not someone you can judge solely on the singles. She's an artist who is more about making consistant albums than great singles. I just don't get why people are so hellbent against bashing her musically. Nothing Fails off her last album was one of the most powerful songs I've heard in the past year or two.

it's funny how much everyone loved Avril then... and yet hate her now. All the Hilary fans should take a peek at posts in here from 1 year ago and remember all the Avril worshipping that went on.
Avril IMO, was okay as a "power-pop" singer... but she was NOT punk at all, and also she annoyed me in interviews. Anyone in the rock field who doesn't even know who David Bowie (IMO, one of the greatest rock stars to ever live) is doesn't even deserve a recording contract.

The music industry would be a better thing if Mariah had just stayed making AC ballads/catchy uptempo pop numbers like she did in the early 90's. Mariah and J. Lo are both to blame for why top 40 radio is overrun by hip hop nowadays.

well, if Mariah had still done the hip hop mixes, but NOT released them as videos, and also left the rappers only to the maxisingles... it'd be different. Just like how countless artists do club remixes of songs, but if you dislike it, all you have to do is not go to a dance club or not buy the maxisingle. Mariah working with Puffy, Jay-Z and the sort opened the pandora's box for hip hop music strangleholding the singles chart. It's at the point where if you are not a hip hop fan, you cannot listen to any "non-oldies" radio station, and you certainly cannot watch any of the music channels unless you like country enough to watch CMT.
I know Mariah thinks that she did a great thing by bringing rappers into pop music, but all she's done in retrospect is actually make that the most overplayed to death genre of music since disco. I miss the days when people didn't need to hook up with rappers in order to score hit singles. I am disapointed that Usher has rappers in his new song, when his last cd was a huge hit, and none of the songs were dumbed down rap-infested singles.

LOL... you can't even compare Christina's Stripped to Mariah's best work, with two albums, Christina has already surpassed Mariah in talent... admit it or not. Even the snobby critics agree... LOL. Mariah could of never pulled off a song like "Beautiful" or even "Dirrty"!... Unlike MC, Christina has a more versatile voice.
Yes this is a Madonna thread, but we are not going to sit here as you post unfactual comments.

wasn't Mariah's 170 million albums AND singles (I know someone counted the albums and singles together)? Madonna's at 165 albums alone, not counting singles. Either which way, it's not like one of them kicked the other. Mariah has more #1's than Madonna in the US and Japan, Madonna has more #1's than Mariah in the UK, France, Germany and Australia. It almost evens itself out.
But I read Celine Dion has outsold BOTH Mariah and Madonna. Plus, statistics really don't mean bull. Look at all the "Real artists" that haven't had as many #1's or sold as many albums as Jennifer Lopez.
MonarC 01-24-2004, 10:13 PM were talking world wide album sales here not statistics...

170 million albums AND singles vs. 165 million albums alone (and Vogue sold 2 million copies in the US alone, it's pretty safe to assume she's sold over 5 million singles)?
I kinda have a hard time believing if Mariah really has outsold Madonna. Everyone I know has owned at least one Madonna album, many of them own at least 4 or 5. I only know a handful of people who have supported Mariah after the Butterfly album.
Mariah may have sold more albums in the past 15 years, but I don't think she has EVER been the icon that Madonna was at her height. Madonna was on a level of fame in 1989-1990 that only Michael Jackson, Elvis and The Beatles can possibly say they've seen. Every single thing Madonna did during that era was news.
Plus, it's doubtful Mariah will EVER reach Elvis or Beatles numbers if she keeps insisting on going on this rap trip that has alienated everyone who liked her in the early 1990's.
But if you wanna keep believing Mariah is God, good for you, but there are many more who will disagree because we think she's a hack who has ruined music by insisting on shoving rappers onto pop radio.

Madonna is the greatest pop icon of all time, Mariah ruined herself by shoving rap garbage down everyones throats. I already pointed out that Mariah sold 170 million albums + singles, and Madonna sold 165 million albums alone. Hello, you know as a fact Madonna's sold more than 5 million singles.
You are true sheep towards Mariah, even I admit Madonna has some albums and movies are not as good as others. I admit that Swept Away and The Next Best Thing were two of the worst movies I have ever watched.
Mariah was okay until she turned into ghetto trash in 1997 in the Honey remix video with Puff Daddy and Mase. Her and J. Lo are both equal on my "they suck, I'll never support them again for what they did to the music industry" list.

thanks for pointing this out. I dunno how anyone who lived through the 1980's can possibly say that Mariah is bigger than Madonna. Mariah had her time in the early/mid 90's, but still... she was popular but she was never on the "icon level" that Madonna was on in her time. I guess if you're a teenager and the earliest memories you have of Madonna is Evita, I can see it. But she was the female Michael Jackson in the 80's and early 90's, not to say Mariah WASN'T big, but she never was quite on that type of iconic level. Even in 1996 when Mariah was getting played every 3 minutes when One Sweet Day, she wasn't quite the media spectacle that Madonna was.
I also have to agree with SBTB about Christina. Christina may not have yet outsold Mariah (gee, 2 albums not counting the "special releases" compared to what, 11?) but she's definately dusting her rivals aside. I'm not a big Christina fan, but she DID show signs of growth with Stripped, and it actually appealed to me enough to go out and buy a copy... I haven't bought a Mariah cd since Daydream and don't plan to buy anything since.

Michael Jackson's the only one who counts for POP music you listed, or at least "Pop" in the type of genre of music Madonna counts for.

When Jennifer Lopez first came out singing my friends and family were laughing at her music video, we all thought it was some sort of joke. And she's just kind of... stayed. And I even liked teenybopper music then, but she was and still is horrible!

very true. Me Against The Music was the first collaboration of Madonna's career to be released as a single, Mariah has seemingly had countless rap collabs since the late 90's.
Say what you want about Madonna, but at least I know I can listen to one of her cd's in it's entirity and know I will not be forced to listen to any rap crap like Mariah's been doing the past 7 years
Dean Winchester 01-25-2004, 12:34 AM one last thing about the "over" thing...
REMEMBER 1993??? REMEMBER THE EROTICA ALBUM???? That album was a flop and Madonna haters all around the world were jumping for joy and cheering that her career was officially over.
Then the very next year, she came back, and had three huge singles in a row (I'll Remember, Secret, Take A Bow) and her sales went back up, and suddenly Madonna was back again.
If she could pick herself back up from the Erotica backlash, what makes you think she won't be able to do it again? Plus, American Life flopped more to a lack of radio airplay as Clear Channel stations boycotted the album because of the "unpatriotic" music video. People didn't hear the songs, so they didn't buy the album. Plus, the type of music Madonna made on that album WASN'T what was "in" in 2003, a year in which every pop artist either went pop-punk, went the standards route, or called up every rapper they've ever slept with to do backup guest spots.
When Mariah fans trash Madonna, all it does is make Madonna fans dislike Mariah more. It's not like when a Janet or Celine or Cher or Barbra fan bashes Madonna and calls her names, because I think those artists' fans have a little more credibility trashing Madonna than fans of an artist who sold out and went the hip hop way.

so did Madonna's
just an FYI. The reason why so many Madonna fans think so low of Mariah is because Mariah fans such as yourself and many others have a tendency to bash Madonna for no apparent reason
Dean Winchester 01-25-2004, 12:59 AM I really don't get this Mariah/Madonna fight personally. I mean, they are totally different types of music, yes, they do share some fans, but for the most part they're based in different genres of music. People who generally favor r&b/hip hop or adult contemporary ARE going to prefer Mariah and people who prefer dance music or pop ARE going to prefer Madonna. I think of people like Whitney and Celine as better "rivals" to Mariah, and someone like Janet or Cher as better "rivals" to Madonna. So what do Madonna and Mariah really have in common except that they're both successful female artists with the initials MC? In male terms, this would be like Michael Jackson and Billy Joel fans fighting... both are successful and have made an impact, but they are frankly different genres of music.
But if Mariah fans are going to start bashing Madonna, I will put my foot down. I liked Mariah when she started out as an AC balladeer and also had some funky catchy pop numbers... but when she started working with rappers all the time, she lost me and a lot of other people. Whereas Madonna has NEVER disapointed me musically. Every single one of her albums eventually grew on me. Hip hop is my least favorite genre of music, so Mariah's incessant dabbling with it has turned me off to her, whereas I like the directions Madonna's taken her music into. Had Mariah stayed in the Music Box vein, I would still be a fan of hers.

So did Madonna's dear and it outsold Crapbracelet worldwide too. Of course I don't expect a delusional lamb to notice the success of another successful female act.
Dean Winchester 01-25-2004, 02:46 AM Mariah does have some good songs IMO
such as:
Fantasy
Vision Of Love
Emotions
Someday
Make It Happen
Anytime You Need A Friend
Heartbreaker (it did have a rapper, but it was a catchy song and I admit it)
Never Too Far
Can't Let Go
I Don't Wanna Cry
Underneath The Stars
Never Forget You
Forever
she was never among my favorite artists, but I did think she had a lot of class and a great voice and I did like her. But it seemed like once she started working with rappers in 1997, that she got further and further into it, to the point that she alienated the fans who preferred her as a balladeer/upbeat pop singer. And I know I am not the only person who blames this "everyone hooking up with a rapper" trend on Mariah.

btw Mariah is the #1 selling female artist in HISTORY when Xtina takes that position then you can talk about talent! ummk:D
Christina has surpassed Mariah in the talent department since her debut!...LOL! Quantity does not equal quality, just remember that lamb. The fact that Mariah can squeal [what she calls high notes] only makes her a sort of pig, not a talented singer.

Mariah's last album was Remixes... and that is FAR from being platinum, it has barely sold less than 200,000 thousand copies. As for Charmbracelet... that was wrongfully certified platinum... the RIAA included numbers SHIPPED, not just SOLD. Since 2001, Mariah has only sold around 3 million copies WORLDWIDE, sadly, Mariah is the one that's "over."
If you are so much into quantity, find out how much Christina Aguilera has sold worldwide since 2001, and then you will find out who has talent in your dictionary!

IMO, Mariah in her heyday was a better vocalist than Christina... but I think Christina has proven she picks better material. Stripped was an amazing album, and I didn't even like Christina until I heard Beautiful. She has really come into her own and I think she's left Britney in the dust.
But who outsold who is irrelevant because look at all the artists J. Lo has outsold. I think it's more about who people will still be talking about in 10-15-20 years. Who still talks about New Kids On The Block or MC Hammer? Yet people still talk about Nirvana and Jane's Addiction. Longevity is more important that sales IMO.

Elvis, Beatles, David Bowie (I love you telling me I don't like him, HE'S MY FAVORITE MALE ARTIST OF ALL TIME!!!), Elton John (MY SECOND FAVORITE MALE ARTIST OF ALL TIME!!!), Springsteen, Neil Young, Bob Dylan I consider ROCK icons instead of POP.
Michael Jackson's the only one who counts for POP music you listed, or at least "Pop" in the type of genre of music Madonna counts for.
Where do you get off telling me I don't like David Bowie? I LIKE HIM MORE THAN I LIKE MADONNA!!!
ok...
My definition of "POP ICONS"
Michael Jackson, Madonna, Cher, Janet, Whitney, Mariah, Prince, Barbra Streisand, The Bee Gees, Abba, Celine, Lionel Richie, Olivia Newton-John, Gloria Estefan, Donna Summer, George Michael, Tina Turner, etc... are ones I would consider POP ICONS.
Whereas I'd consider people like Springsteen, Dylan, Jagger, Beatles, Elvis, Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Led Zep, Ozzy, Elton (at least 70's Elton, Billy Joel, etc... ROCK ICONS. Pop and Rock are completely different genres of music IMO. Just like I would consider Dolly Parton a COUNTRY ICON, but not Pop or Rock.
but I still get irked when being told that because I like Madonna, I don't like any other artist. I know there are a few Madonna fans out there who hate every other artist in existance, and I think they give M fans a bad name (but then, doesn't everyone have those type of fans? hell, look at how Madonna and Christina are being drug by a Mariah fan in here).
I am a Madonna fan.... but I also like David Bowie, Cher, Cyndi, Prince, Janet, Jewel, Elton, Fleetwood Mac, Abba, Donna Summer, Bjork, Olivia, Pet Shop Boys, Annie Lennox, (old) Michael Jackson, Tina, Erasure, Celine, Duran Duran, No Doubt, and many many others.... since I know you keep insisting that I don't like other artists... WELL I DO. Accept it.

lol, the difference between Madonna fans and Mariah fans is that Madonna fans don't sugarcoat things. I've accepted that American Life WAS A FLOP. I liked the album and thought it was overlooked, but the fact remains, it was a flop.... SO WERE GLITTER AND CHARMBRACELET. I also can admit Madonna's made some terrible movies that are just undefendable, this includes Shanghai Surprise, The Next Best Thing, Body Of Evidence and Swept Away.... Glitter wasn't much better than those films.
Being a fan of an artist doesn't mean you have to worship everything they've done. There is no artist I like (and like I said before... I like a lot of stuff) who has more than 5 albums that I can't admit there's at least one album I don't like as much as the others. For Madonna, I was never too fond of I'm Breathless and Like A Virgin hasn't dated so well. And I have ones for every other artist I like.
The only old-time (well, those who've been out more than a decade) "diva" right now (well, we'll see how Janet does, she's been away for awhile, she can either be huge, or have a clunker... nothing is guarenteed these days) whose fans can possibly say another artists' career is over is Celine, her sales have gone down a bit, but her albums are still doing pretty darn well, just not the numbers she was used to in the late 90's. Madonna, Mariah and Whitney's recent projects all bombed and there's no way fans of any of those artists can say differently.

You are FULL of CRAP, Mariah's Greatest Hits wasn't even certified GOLD, how could it be platinum?... Charmbracelet was wrongfully certified platinum... her label included albums SHIPPED. BTW, who owns her label... Mariah does, right?... She certified herself.
So since 2000, Mariah has only sold around 2 million copies worldwide, in the other hand Christina has sold 20 million.

as long as you Mariah fans will drag Madonna through the mud and act like she's NOT an icon... why do you expect Madonna fans to respect your saviour? I accept that Mariah is a successful artist, you should accept the same for Madonna.
Plus at least I know Madonna never sold out to hip hop and cater to look "cool" (and before you bring Britney up... I'd have her over 99% of the rappers on the chart anyday)

Having a bunch of rabid teenyboppers buying your albums doesn't mean shes "the best". Her music sucks. Its nothing special. Its all repetitive.
Mr. Stefani 01-25-2004, 03:13 PM Both Mariah and Madonna's music careers are washed up. Just face it. They had a nice run while it lasted. Better than most artists.

I agree. Selling albums doesn't make you "the best". Biggest and Best are different things, and even then, someone even proved concrete evidence that Madonna (and most likely Celine also) has sold more ALBUMS than Mariah has, but she's so blinded by that piece of ghetto trash to admit any other artist is successful.
I feel sad for the Mariah fans I know who at least can form opinions.... she's no better than some of the Madonna fans I've come across who grab their crucifixes at the mention of Janet, Cher or Mariah, because they can't handle more than one successful solo female artist out there.
I am curious how old MonarC is... I highly doubt she remembers the 80's and early 90's when Madonna was THE icon by the way she keeps questioning "was Madonna ever actually popular?", the answer is a resounding HELL YES. Sorry, if all you remember was Ray Of Light and Music, you don't remember her glory days as a superstar.
Dean Winchester 01-25-2004, 03:22 PM Originally posted by Nirvana

I think both have a shot to bounce back, kinda like how people like Cher, Barbra and Tina always seem to bounce back, but as I said. BOTH!!
One of the reasons (besides her going ghetto) I turned on Mariah is because of the way her overzealous fans are. Mariah fans telling fans of other artists that their music sucks IS NOT GOING TO MAKE US WANNA GO TO THE RECORD STORE AND PICK UP THE MARIAH ALBUMS WE DON'T OWN YET It's sad to be too obsessed by one artist to admit there's good in others. Just because I'm a Madonna fan doesn't mean I can't see the good in 100 other female acts. Whereas "Xtina didn't sell as much as Mariah, so she's not AS GOOD". Hell, Joni Mitchell has sold nowhere near as much as Madonna has, and while I am a bigger Madonna fan, I admit that Joni IS the more talented artist.
MonarC 01-25-2004, 03:33 PM
Of course i remember the 80's and i know Madonna is an icon. I just think she has changed into a "gimic" kissing britney and all this bull just to get some press is really gross and stupid.
But whatever. You guys can say that album sales don't matter and dont make you great. Then what about Elvis and the Beatles? I guess their not great either
you guys just hate Mariah and love to talk mess about her and make her look lower than she is. So it doesn't matter what i say.

You're so delusional...............Madonna has two diamona albums just like Mariah.............. Like A Virgin and The Immaculate Collection are her diamond albums and they still sell better catalog-wise than any Mariah album............As for Christina she is poverdue for a diamond award for her debut.........Also you got this Mariah info from a Mariah site via the RIAA which states Mariah's certified at 57 million compared to Madonna's 60 million..........And remember Madonna's overdue with other certifications more so than Mariah.............. OK you can go die now as I've just stated some facts.
