I recently got a DVD burner and I want to convert some of my VCD series to DVD. My question is: How do I create a DVD with menus? I checked www.dvdrhelp.com but there are so many different options. I want to know what the best method to use is. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Like you said, there are a TON of different ways to do this, but here's how I make mine-
*Use VCDGEAR to convert your .dat VCD files to .mpg files (not always necessary but it nevers hurts to be sure)
*Use TMPGEnc to convert your .mpg files to DVD compliant video. I recommend converting each episode individually as doing them in batch jobs can sometimes cause adio synch problems.
When using TMPGEnc you can use the various filters to help clean up your video somewhat, but remember - IT NEVER GETS ANY BETTER THAN THE SOURCE!!
*Now that you have your compliant files, you can use a variety of authoring programs. My personal favorite is Ulead Movie Factory 2.
*Choose to output FILES rather than an ISO image... again I've had problems with audio synch when Ulead tries to make the image. Probably doesn't happen on other programs...
*Burn the DVD files with Nero/EZCD/etc., and enjoy :)
It's actually quite easy, although it can be very time consuming for larger projects...
Good Luck!
