I'm extremely bored and i was wondering if you leave the commercials in or stop recording when they come and then record again so you get no commercials?

Set the timer!

I have some like 3 w/commercials! but I try no to rec. :D

I pause it so I dont get commercials, but if for some reason I cant be there to pause it, I set the timer and record it anyways with commercials.

If I am awake and not as tired (as TC airs at 11:00 and 11:30 p.m.), I will record it without commercials in EP mode. When I do this, Nick-at-Nite's recording time will be around 20 minutes without commercials. If I am tired or have to get up real early the next day, I put the set timer on.

Here's a trick for those of you who put their VCRs on set timer who try to get as little of the theme intros and end credits as possible. This is what I do: TC usually after the intro starts one minute later, and if the episode doesn't have a tag scene right before the credits, the show ends around :24 or :54 mintues after the hour/half hour. So, in reality, I set it to about, for instance:

11:01 to 11:24, and that eliminates seven minutes to make room for other airings or other shows. Just some FYI. That's what I do, and it adds more room to my EP-mode (six-hour) VHS. ;)

i set my alarm for the time its on and get up, pop in the tape( i usually do that b4 i go to bed) and hit the rec button.:D

P.S drummergirl, assuming you drum, how long have you been drumming? I'm a fellow drummergirl and it's always nice to meet other drummers

on the episodes i really like, and look forward to, i try to stop on the commercial breaks. If they are episodes that i just want to have for my collection, but wont watch too much, then i just include the commercials.
