What do you all think?

Let me just say.... that i really really like scooter girl!! Haha. She was good! I really hoped that she moved on, and she did. I was happy :)

I also like that Unchained Melody guy!! The redhead guy was okay.

I thought the girl who sang "Dancing In the Street" actually was pretty okay. I was surprised she got rejected.

The girl who went to the bar... was HILARIOUS.

Um, and there were too many commercial breaks. I think it actually went past the 9:00 hour.. because during the last commercial, i checked the TVGuide channel, and it was 8:57. The scooter girl segment was still yet to come.

Ok there were WAY too many fake bad singers. They only showed SIX people getting through (i know there were more). Anyways I love scooter girl too :D The show def went over in time... i missed taping the last part with Ryan and Scooter girl because i had timer recorded it. grrr. oh well. That made me so mad that they rejected the military girl. It was obvious that it was all because of her looks. :mad:

And you know what? When the top 12 is formed, its interesting to look back at their audition... but maybe only half of them will ever air.

I thought the military girl was gonna go through... the only thing i didnt like about her was that we would have another josh gracin, except female.

And, the brothers... i think these might be the brothers Paula was talking about in that article i posted a few days ago. They're good singers... but they kinda sound the same. Hmm. we'll see

I enjoyed the premiere and I even taped it. That's what I plan on doing with the entire series. The military girl wasn't spectacular or anything, but I thought she was good enough to get through the next round. It was kind of funny how some of them started of ridiculous like scooter girl and the redheaded guy but actually turned out pretty good.

I have to agree with the comments about the girl from the Army.
She had personality AND a good voice! I thought they were going to say something like, "Well, you found something you can do well." I was very surprised they rejected her.

I saw it last night, I agree with David, I liked the Unchained Melody guy, liked John aka "The redheaded Dean Martin" too, he wasm y fav, andt he bar thing was hilarious LOL And I did like Scooter Girl. I didnt really like the long hiared guy. I dunno, that girl from Belgium, forgot her name, but the one Randy asked if anyone said she sang like a man, well she did sing like a man, with a cold LOL! Anyways, I enjoyed it :D I didnt think the "next Clay" guy was that good though

I liked the scooter girl. She had a creative audition. I think the two brothers did excellent. The guy that sang Unchained Melody was terrific. I did not know that Weird Al Yankovic was auditioning. I can't wait to see the one contestant that throws water on Simon.

The "next Clay" guy was horrible. :eek: I had to laugh at that guy from Kosovo who was singing (or tried to sing, rather) Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me. :lol:

Oh man. These auditions are too much LOl. That redheaded guy.. my mom said he looked like Conan. :o. Ahh.. the Chinese girl in TX is really funny lol. And the SCAT Girl. Scooter Girl was good! The Paula "lover" was good too :) What does Randy mean by "runs"

It's so tough to tell in the early rounds...there were people that I thought were good last year that completely bombed when they went to the next round. They seem to be showing less of the people that advance this year (I like the bad ones too, though).

Housten sucked. I couldn't even watch it all. It was like a greek tradegy. I couldn't even watch it all. I can only watch so many bad singers. I felt so bad for them.

Doesn't Houston have any decent singers? My goodness. Only 13 out of several thousands made it. The girl that kept trying to sing after they told her no was annoying. The oriental girl was pathethic. The guy that threw the water at Simon was a dope. The two decent singers that I liked was the guy that they said was old fashioned and the girl that sang Stormy Weather. Will we see the Enrique Inglesias wannabe from last year in LA next week?

But that fight between the judges was the GREATEST. Simon just LEFT. Then Paula screams at Randy and she leaves. They flat out HATED eachother at that point. And then Randy got to make his decison on his own, and said I said be the only judge:lol: It was one of the best things on AI evr. And about the singers, I think these first few episodes are more about seeing the judges say things and to watch the bad singers. And then they throw in some good auditions. Later in the show is when we get to see some good singing. I like both. The funny horrible people and the greatness of the good ones.

What was that guy thinking when he threw water at Simon? I'm sort of glad Simon didn't press charges against him for his sake. I think it would give him a bad reputation that would probably be irrepairable. It would give the people who hate him a REALLY good reason to hate him. After the kid was led out of the room, Randy comes in and he's looking around as if he was thinking, "Whoa, did I miss something?" I have never seen anybody go that far before with him.

I didn't really like last night's episode to be honest. I mean I like watching the first few episodes for the bad auditions and for Simon to give them their reality checks that they deserve. But last night it was plain ridiculous. Only 3 or 4 good auditions. Only 12-13 people made it to Hollywood from Houston but still. Couldn't they have shown like 5 or 6 of them? I'd like to see variety, not just a 3/4 of an episode with sucky auditions.

It's assault. I agree with Miss Conan. From the expression on his face I didn't see any anger or anything. In fact I could see him smiling as he was being led out.

AHHHH I hope they show Triumph The Insult Comic Dog @ Hawaii!! Conan sent him there during the audtions for his show and then showed it on Late Nite...LMFAO it was hilarious. I doubt theyd show it though... they kicked Triumph out!:lol: :lol: :lol:

I was surprised that the Hispanic male didn't make it. I thought he sang really well. I think his name was Ricardo. The girl with the dog was funny. The young asian male at the end was hilarious. Looking forward to the auditions in Hawaii.

I can't believe the girl that sang "Independence Day" made it. I think she was the last one to make it. She was horrible.

I heard they're showing auditions that they haven't aired yet, so it could be somebody we haven't seen. :confused:

I think i might root for the football guy simply because he has an awsome voice but i also like the unchained melody guy, and the guy that sang to Paula was very hot especially when they showed him stripping his shirt! I think i like that one red head girl that they showed her on tues (jan27) before they showed auditions for the VERY first round to get to the '3 judges' they didn't show her audition but I think they showed her pic when they flashed them up at the end
