Did anyone watch 'Bands Reunited' on VH1. All week they're getting bands of the '80s back together to play for one night. They have bands like Berlin, Flock of Seaguls, Dramarama, and many others.

Berlin was on there today. They are one of my favorite bands of the '80s. I love that song "The Metro."

Yeah actually the only two I'd heard of was Berlin and Flock of Seaguls. I didn't live through the '80s, but I love everything about it. I love music, movies, and tv.

Well, I did live through the 80's , so of course, I have heard of Berlin & Flock of Seagulls, but I vaguely remember Dramarama. I'm sure if I heard their music, it would come back to me. I watched an episode yesterday where they were reuniting Romeovoid, another band I vaguely remember but when I heard 2 of their songs, I remembered the songs.

I was reading in this week's TV Guide that the Jan.27th episode, they're going to try to reunite the band Extreme. For those who aren't familiar with them, they hit it big in the early 90's with a ballad called "More Than Words" although IMO Extreme was much, much, MUCH more than a ballad band. They also had another hit "Hole-hearted", but it wasn't as big as MTW. Well, I was really into them back them, they were really a big part of my life, and I still keep up on what the guys are doing now. I got to know them when they were recording their 3rd CD "3 Sides to Every Story" in Ft. Lauderdale. Anyway, when I read that VH1 was going to try to reunite them, I thought "Why are they bothering"? It's not like they are totally out of touch with each other. Gary(lead singer), Pat(bassist), and Mike(drums) have another band together called Tribe of Judah, and Extreme's guitarist, Nuno Bettencourt, who has his own band, showed up at one of their shows recently, got up on stage, and they played a bunch of Extreme songs. I thought this show was for bands who haven't seen each other in years.

I missed the ep (wanted to tho) but what's the point in reuniting Berlin?

Berlin has been back together for about 5 years now!!!!! They released a new cd a year or two ago, and I remember them performing on the old Farm Club show on USA a few years ago.
