I only watched this show a few times, but I really like it!!
Does Mr.Monk live with his assistant???? Because I have never seen him in his own house and he always eats dinner at his assistant's home!!!

I think Monk and Sharona have different houses, but he's just over there a lot. I mean, would you leave him in an empty house by himself? I sure wouldn't. :D

The new Monk theme, not the jazzy instrumental from the first season is performed by Randy Newman. He's been around for a while, and has had a few hits.

As for the original theme music, I couldn't tell ya.
