Beyoncé Superbowl Pepsi Commercial [01-19]

Singing sensation Beyoncé Knowles has just completed a commercial for Pepsi due to air Superbowl Sunday. The nearly three minute commercial will be Knowles' fifth Pepsi commercial and the third to air in the U.S. The highly confidential ad's contents are not given, but when questioned about it, Knowles replied, "I can't say much, but there are a lot big surprises." Knowles completed the commercial Saturday after a two week taping in Los Angeles. "This is probably our biggest campaign involving an entertainer," says Lori Lothe, Vice-Preident of marketing, "the commercial is a tad longer than Britney Spears' setup at Superbowl XXXVI and incorporates a new look for Pespi. Beyoncé is a multi-faceted entertainer who has grown beyond everyones' expectations." Knowles also completed an ad for Pepsi's international campaign to air only in Europe. Knowles will sing the National Anthem at the game airing on CBS at 6:00pm eastern standard time.

Britney came back to do Pepsi one more time along with other guest artists, that's cool. Do you remember that this week in 1984 (this is from Kingston's Daily Freeman):

Michael Jackson suffered burns to his scalp during the filming of the Pepsi commercial that featured special effects. He was briefly hospitalized.

That was 20 years ago, this week.
