View Full Version : NICK's Skipping It AGAIN!
pilotguy 01-19-2004, 09:54 AM During this current "Wings" cycle, NICK is skipping over Episode #17, "A Terminal Christmas" AGAIN!
While I've videotaped the entire series of "Wings" during the last cycle (at least all of the episodes that NICK aired), there ARE some gaps where NICK skipped over episodes....
I had hoped that those skipped episodes would be shown this time around. Any previously-skipped episodes that ARE shown this time around, I plan on recording on a separate videotape and calling that volume "WINGS: The Lost Episodes".
blackbeard 01-19-2004, 11:27 AM Pilotguy, according to the TV listings on my excite page, this episode is being shown on NICK this Thursday, January 22 3:30 AM A Terminal Christmas, I hope this information is correct.

Thanks Blackbeard, I'll check it out (the NICK online listings only list today and tomorrow's episodes).
If NICK IS showing that Christmas episode, then it's out of episode order, but that's OK....as I say, it's going on a separate tape anyway.

CRAP!
lol I have a separate tape of episodes that they had skipped over the first time, and I got them the second time around. I call it my "Random Wings" tape. lol
wingshock 01-20-2004, 12:48 PM Definitely looks like they're skipping #17 "Terminal Christmas"...
Tonight's #16 "There's Always Room for Cello" and then #18 "Airport '90"
Love,
Wing<><

Blackbeard, I checked out the excite page TV listings, and the episodes that they list are VERY different from what NICK lists....
For example, excite lists "There's Always Room For Cello" as the companion episode for "A Terminal Christmas" on Thursday, but NICK is saying that they're showing "Cello" tonight along with "Airport 90" (which is the proper episode order, minus "A Terminal Christmas").
I'll still keep checking the NICK listings for that Christmas episode though, and thanks again for your response....It's really appreciated!
Skywalker 01-20-2004, 03:41 PM The schedule at the N@N site is out of order. Last night, N@N aired "It's not the thought its the gift" and "Hell hath no fury ..." According to the N@N site, "High anxiety" and "Friends or lovers" aired last night which wasn't true.
Krista2882 01-20-2004, 05:10 PM yeah, last night should have been "It's not the thought, its the gift", and "Hell Hath No Fury..." , which is the ones I watched on my tape because they came next in order. so if they showed those episodes last night, that means that tonight should be "High Anxiety" and "Friends Or Lovers". But the N@N schedule shows that tonight they're showing "There's Always Room For Cello" and "Airport '90"... so either they skipped "High Anxiety" and "Friends Or Lovers", or the schedule is wrong. lol i don't know... The schedule at N@N.com has been known to be a day ahead before too, though...
Skywalker 01-22-2004, 12:49 AM Excite has updated their tv listings, and it appears that a Terminal Christmas won't be airing this time around. Bah Humbug!
Adamantium 01-23-2004, 03:33 PM Well on Thursday night they showed:
3:00am "There's Always Room for Cello"
3:30am "Airport '90"
On Friday night:
3:00am "Airport '90"
3:30am "Love Is Like Pulling Teeth"
Thus meaning that they skipped "A Terminal Christmas".
I'm assuming they didn't show it around Christmas time either. Somehow, I forgot to tape all the Christmas episodes when they aired them in December.

I was wondering what was going on when I saw Airport '90 this morning. It was on the night before. Rest assured after going to different tv listings, I've learned that the Tennis Bum will air tonight at 3:00 am . I was scared for a while cause I thought N@N was going to air the episode from the previous night from now on.

Adam,
you did not forget. They did not show them in December. They skipped A Terminal Christmas, and All About Christmas Eve on both the first two revolutions. I did see The Customer's Usually right, Happy Holidays, Insanity Claus, and 'Twas the Heist Before Christmas on one of the first two revolutions, so they showed all those episodes at least once. I was waiting for the Wings Christmas special where they could run all 6 episodes back to back. Or many one each night for 6 nights, but it did not happen

Happenstance 01-24-2004, 08:39 AM According to my Tivo guide, they'll also be skipping Marriage, Italian Style next month. Good ole Nick, always coming through in a pinch.

Oh NO...That's TERRIBLE news! That story's a two-parter, and I didn't tape EITHER part during the last cycle because one of the parts (I can't remember which one) was suddenly pre-empted so NICK could air all-night "Three's Company" shows. (This was right after John Ritter had passed away. I don't fault NICK for saluting John, but WHY skip the story THIS time around?)
