Hey!
I was just on davidandmaddie.com (http://davidandmaddie.com), and I was trying to play clips of some scenes. It says it requires a RealOne player, and I think I have one, but when I click on the scene to play it, it tells me the address is not found.
Do you think the people who did the site could've put in the wrong address, or do I not have the right Real player?
:thanks:

i am not one to ask technical questions to about computers but at least if i can play it on mine, that tells us that it is working.

Darn! That means I must not have the right Real player!
I've got another question. When I search Jeeves for "Moonlighting quotes," they give me this site called "Blue Moon Banter." It looks really great, but when I go there, I gives me this almost blank page with links to pictures of the site owner! I have no idea what it is...could it be linked wrong? Do you get that too? Here's the site:

As webmaster of DavidandMaddie.com I want to help you see the clips at the site. Yes, you do need the current RealOne player...so to be sure go download the newest one at http://www.real.com/ and make sure you select the free version....
Also do you have a Mac and not a pc? And are you an AOL user. Many aol users have problems because the default media player for AOL wants to invoke whenever you play any clip...but it cannot play these....only a Real Player can.
Also it is going to help if you have a broadband connection cause these are large streaming clips. You can probably see them without broadband, but the experince won't be as clear or as smooth.
Please lmk if you are still having problems. You can email me priviately if you'd like.

Woah...you're that Cindy? Webmaster Cindy? :notworthy That's so cool! First off, I gotta say...DavidandMaddie.com is the best site on the planet.
I'm gonna try to download the RealOne player from the site you posted. My dad swears we have one, but it might not be right. I'll check that out first, and I'll get back to you.
Thanks a lot for the help...I appreciate it! :thanks:

Hey, Cindy.
I just installed the RealOne player, and when I clicked on the clip, this (http://http://real30ny.audiovideoweb.com:554/ramgen/avwebdsnyreal3171/Curious.rm) showed up. Any advice?

The click on the site invokes THIS LINK (http://real30ny.audiovideoweb.com:554/ramgen/avwebdsnyreal3171/Curious.rm) which should cause the real one player to pop up and play the clip. HMMMMM. When you click on it, is the real media player popping up trying to play the clip or not? Are you sure it is installed properly? Check to make sure you don't have your settings on your browser set to prevent popups.....or that your settings under Tools-Internet Options-Advanced is set up to play video clips.
Please email me off this board so we can continue this discussion without involving everyone because I need to know more about your computer and your operating system and your internet connection and your browser. I promise I will figure out why you aren't able to play it and you will get to see it...
