That should be funny. Does anyone know how many episodes will be on?

I only wish AI and FOF weren't up against two hours of Fear Factor because FF is a seven-part series for a million bucks.
I'll be utilizing the remote a lot.

I don't know about this one. It sounds funny and everything, but the parents and other relatives have to know they're on camera and are going to be on national television, don't they? With this "reality craze" going on, the thought that they are being fooled during filming has to cross their minds. I just don't see how they could possibly pull this off unless the cameras are hidden the entire time and they don't know they're being filmed. The whole thing seems sort of contrived for some reason. The idea sounds really good, but if you stop and think about it, doesn't it seem like something isn't right? I mean if you had a daughter and she brought home this obnoxious man, and you were being filmed, wouldn't you be the least bit suspicious? I would.

I agree with you Shocolah................ But, I just might watch it...

I would be mad if it's another phony show like Jerry Springer though.....

I wonder if Randy will keep believing he's a real contestant. He IS over the top. I think it's hilarious though. I love her expressions.

There might be a twist that we haven't heard about yet that might be revealed when the family becomes involved. On these shows, they usually want the people to win the money so there is a happy ending. Maybe they will tell her family that if they can convince her NOT to marry him, she will get the money. That way, she would get the money either way, but the funny part would be they're working hard to convince the other of the opposite. That's just my thought.

She's beautiful and VERY uptight! She appears mortified to have to deal with this guy let alone pretend to be his fiancee.

He's so annoying and thats what makes it funny.

I love it! Steve is hilarious! The guy who plays him is in those Hungry Man TV Dinner commercials. He's the guy who gets blown away by the portable hair dryer.

I have seen the next to the last episode and I do agree with one poster that with cameras going you would think Randi's parents would have more questions. Such as, they would ask Randi when she's alone with them. "You were brought up better than to put up with Steve's behavior." " What about him do you like? " I don't see them asking her any questions that make her think and squirm. I would expect Mrs Coy to say to Randi or Mr Coy "That family I can't imagine anyone so strange? You can do better than this."
All in all, the way I see this show I think the parents have been coached too and only Randi is being sucked in. After all what family appears on a tv just to see their daughter tell them she getting married to a uncouth guy and his family and not complain to the tv crew/

I agree with you, no show has made me laugh this hard. I hate that it's ending Monday.

I'm surprised there wasn't any posts about this show for three weeks. I can't wait to see the ending. I bet they'll give Randy the money one way or another, for all she's been through.

Very surprised that the family stayed quiet and Steve was the one who spoke up. He couldn't have made the speech about the 'family sticking together' if they didn't all show up or if someone objected. I wonder how they would have handled it then...

I knew they would get the money anyway, which is nice.

I saw the ending. It was a little too good to go so smooth. I just read Randi quit her teaching job. I wonder if she left or they had a chat and said we'd perfer you to go. It did take her away from her schoolteaching job. Also her language on the shows wasn't quite the thing for a grammar school teacher in a catholic school. She sad "fricken" so darn much. Sounds too much like the other f word. .
I also read that the final episode did well out ranking the Sex and the City finale. All in all the series did well for the Fox network.

Now they should have a Overweight Female and a Handsome guy and do another show.

They are going to repeat the last episode thursday at 8:00. I can't believe how much tension was on the show. You could see how serious everyone was. I guess the show was a big hit in the ratings though.
