i liked the parts where she openly showed she didn't like Pearl, the new housekeeper too much(like when she sang pretty bad)

yea, i saw it!!! it was funny...but they really made it out to look like Mrs. G was jealous of pearl. But still, I loved her just as much!! Did anyone else notice that Mrs. G was NOT in the audience -during- the wedding? We see one close up when the rings are being exchanged but it's clear from the wide shots that she was not with the other guests! Probably too busy with FoL in '84 to stay around long.

I was looking for her. It did look strange to suddenly see that one clip where she dried her tears with her handkerchief.

Exactly. I couldn't find her either. I guess she couldn't do much in that ep b/c of the FOL shooting schedule. You're right, the kids could've been a little more excited to see her too.
I absolutely loved when she was checking the dust on the table though. lol. That was great.
The writers really could've been a lot funnier w/ the whole Mrs. G/Pearl thing. She didn't even criticize her cooking! lol.
