I attend Metro Community College in Nebraska. When I get finished there I want to move out of state, and attend college in a sunny state :)

I go to Michigan State University - and I love it. I would never call it a "sunny state" though ;) Still, we have the biggest study abroad program in the country, so you can always transfer to Italy

I plan on applying and going to either UCLA, NYU, Barnard College, John Hopkins, U. of Pennsylvania, U. of Michigan, Georgetown, U. of Rochester, Boston College...and I guess Princeton as a wish-college, only because I know connections at Princeton...I dont know, Im still undecided. I also dont know what I plan on majoring in..probably either business/marketing, business/adminstration, pre-law, pre-dentistry, or sexuality and gender studies...

This is weird..I was just looking at college websites (that doesn't happen often) and I came here and found this post. I kind of don't want to have to go back to school, but I'd like to make more than minimum wage someday so I'm thinking about going to Concord college or New River Community and Technical College. I'd really like to attend Marshall University though.

Those are all fabulous schools - but let me caution you about University of Michigan: it's got a wonderful graduate program, but their undergrad is not that good. A lot of the courses are taught by TAs instead of profs - one of my friends who goes there said she didn't get a prof until her junior year. They've got a great reputation, but it's falling. Their acceptance policies were also under federal investigation (that's usually not a good sign) ;)

Lake Michigan College

Northwestern Michigan College
Southwestern Michigan College

etc.

That stinks. I got profs my freshman year at University of Northern Iowa and still had them when I transfered to Iowa State my sophomore year. That was sooooo much better. I did have one class where it was taught by grad students and boy was that a joke.

Oy!

My state....

University of North Dakota
North Dakota State University
Dickinson State University
Minot State University
Mayville State University

....
Up to about 1999 or so, a lot of the junior colleges here in the state went by University of North Dakota-(town name). Let me give you an example.

University of North Dakota - Lake Region (Now Lake Region State College)
University of North Dakota - Bottineau (still goes by that)
University of North Dakota - Williston (Williston State College now)
Bismarck Junior College (Bismarck State College now)

Um. I think that's all. I didn't realize we had that many colleges/universities here.

since I am a junior I have to start thinking about colleges and where I want to attend

Hamilton (in NY)
Holy Cross (MA)
Boston College
Conn. College
John Hopkins (kinda a reach, but I would apply for their business program which is easier to get into)
Bates..possibly
another streach Notre Dame...but its nice college and good school

but basically I really want to go to BC or Holy Cross
