I would hate it if they are the main story in the last episode. They don't belong together, never have and never will. All the spoilers so far focus on Ross and Rachel in the last episode, I thought the name of this show was Friends so they should end it focusing on all of them not just those two.

Doesn't anyone else agree that R&R shouldn't be the main story in the last episode?

If they don't end up together then the show was a 10 year waste of my time.

They better get together in the end or else they've wasted ten years of my life.... But i'd also in the end like to see:

Monica and Chandler get the baby and then find out they are pregnant...

Phobee Marry Mike and get pregnant....

Joey win a daytime-Emmy for "Days Of Our Lives", leave the show and move to L.A. to presue other acting oppurtunites.

I'd also like several of the recurring characters return, Mrs. Bing (Morgan Fairchild), The Gellers, Rachels Parents, Carol and her lesbian lover, can't remember her name... what was it Julie???? and others...

Friends isn't ALL about them, it wouldn't be a complete waste of a show if they didn't get together in the end.

I'm sick of them and their love story that's been going on an entire decade, and I'll hate it when they get together.

What a horrible article. I was searching one of the other boards I visit, look what they posted :barf:

Spoilers/Rumors (I'm hoping rumors)
This is the National Enquirer’s exclusive 'apparently' on how the showwill end.
(shortened and a bit reworded) (http://pub84.ezboard.com/fthenewsnsfrm12.showMessage?topicID=296.topic)

The show begins with Joey and Phoebe in Monica’s and Chandler’s apt packing up the couple’s belongs so they can move to the suburbs.
Meanwhile, in a startling twist, Rachel and Ross are kissing up a storm at his apt. (the other friends aren’t aware of their amorous reunion).
At the same time Monica and Chandler are at the hospital maternity wing, feverishly searching for the woman who is about to give birth to their baby.
Chandler is carrying a huge flower bouquet and frantically going room to room searching for the correct birth mother.
When one mom is at a particularly vocal stage of the birthing process, an intimidated Chandler gives up his quest and tells the woman, “These (the flowers) are for you.”
The scene cuts back to Rachel and Ross, who are in a lovemaking session afterglow when Rach announces she’s leaving for Paris, for a job as a fashion consultant. Ross is visibly heartbroken.
Back at Monica’s and Chandler’s apt the atmosphere is still upbeat. Joey shows Phoebe the housewarming gifts he bought Mon and Chandler – a baby duck and a baby chick.
Phoebe is touched; she knows the baby birds will bring back cherished memories.
At the hospital emergency room, a joyous Mon and Chandler watch the birth of their son.
Then they get another surprise, and a baby girl is born too. They have twins.
Chandler stares dumbfounded at the mother, who stammers, “They mentioned seeing two heartbeats – but I thought they meant me and my baby.”
Chandler is overwhelmed at first, but his heart melts when he holds his daughter and stares into her eyes.
As the couple arrive back at their apt with the twins, all the other gang and Phoebe’s beau Mike are waiting. Everyone is blown away to see the twins.
The excitement is short as Rachel hurries off to make her plane to Paris.
The first part of the finale ends with Ross heading out the door in hot pursuit of her.

The part two finale starts off with Phoebe driving Ross to the airport in her cab.
Meanwhile Joey is frantic, his gifts goes missing.
As a crazed Joey is searching for the birds, Ross and Phoebe arrive at the JFK airport to intercept Rach. But they can’t get into the boarding area without tickets.
Quickly calculating that cheapest tickets they can buy are for a flight to Ithaca, NY, Ross buys the tickets and makes a mad dash into the passenger terminal area.
Meanwhile Rach realizes she has mislaid her boarding pass.
The tension builds as the scene cuts back and forth to Ross racing to reach her in time and she is searching desperately for her boarding pass. Finally a relieved Rach find it and heads up the walkway.
A frantic Ross still can’t find Rach, but miles away Joey has good news – he has found the baby birds after breaking his treasured Foosball table and finding them inside.
Now Ross is panicking and he calls Monica to make sure of Rach’s flight plans.
He’s shock to learn that Rach’s plane is not leaving JFK but the Newark Airport, which is 30 miles away.
Ross and Phoebe race over to Newark and Phoebe calls Rach on her cell phone and try to stall her by saying that she has a psychic feeling there’s a malfunctioning part on the plane.
Rach stays calm but laughingly tells a businessman in the seat next to her what her wacky friend said. He panics and starts a stampede that clears the plane.
Just as passengers are permitted to reboard, Ross runs up to the gate screaming, “Rachel, I love you! Don’t leave me!”
But in a shocking turn of events Rach chides him, “This is so us. How many times have we done this?’
Rach turns around and boards the plane, leaving Ross standing alone heartbroken again.
Phoebe tries to comfort him but he is inconsolable –and he returns home alone.
A distraught Ross absentmindly the play button on his answer machine, and there is Rach’s voice saying “Ross, I love you, too.”
He also hears Rach yelling at the stewardess “I want off this plane!” –while the stewardess yells back “It’s too late. Sit down. We’re taking off!”
Ross is in deeper despair then before.
Suddenly the door of his apt flies open and there is Rach standing there with open arms.
Ross hugs her and says, “Will you be my fourth wife?” She says “Yes, and I’ll be better then your third” (she was his third).
Unaware of the Rach and Ross reunion, the friends gather one last time at Mon’s and Chandler’s apt.
Phoebe is stunned to see them arrive hand in hand, she says “Well that’s better then my ending”
An equally upbeat Joey, who’s been told by Chandler to keep his baby birds as an enduring symbol of their friendship, muses that maybe he can get a goose to go along wit them.
Phoebe and Mike are smitten Mon’s and Chandler’s twins –point to their own future happiness. He suggests to Phoebe maybe we can get one of those too. Viewers will have the impression they will stay together and have a baby.
Set in their news lives, the gang retreats to Central Perk for one last round of coffee, to reminisce, discuss the future and bask in the wonderful warmth of being friends.

Maybe to YOU FRIENDS isn't just about Ross n Rachel but they are a big reason I stayed through the years. THEY are the show to me. It doesn't have to be the same for you.

I couldn't care less about Ross and Rachel. They are not the show to me. The whole of them as a group is the show. It's the group dynamic everybody loves. The most popular episodes are the ones where it's only/mainly them, like the Thanksgiving episodes and suchlike. I don't want R/R dominating the finale. I love C/M to bits, but I don't want them to dominate it either. I want the finale to be about all six of them, equally. But I have a feeling Joey and Phoebe will be pushed aside, and even C/M to some extent while we watch the sickmaking R/R reunion.

And that finale doesn't sound true to me. It's sounds fake. They said it wasn't going to get leaked, and I doubt it would have got out.
