On nearly every "Bewitched" episode, you could always count on one of the above to pop in unexpectedly (except for Tabitha, who was always home) and, with a touch of witchcraft, manage to complicate things for Darrin and Samantha. I didn't include Sam on the list because I would have to assume that any true "Bewitched" fan can't help but love Samantha. That means everyone else is fair game. My choices would have to be Uncle Arthur (who didn't show up often enough, yet his appearances were always memorable and full of laughs) and Tabitha (who could be stubborn and mean at times like Endora but, otherwise, she was a cute and lovable little girl who loved to do the usual little girl activities, only with a witch's powers, which only made her more intriguing).

After Samantha, my favorite would definitely have to be Serena.

As much as I like Samantha, I have to say Aunt Clara is my favorite. A lot of episodes surrounding her are classics. In fact my favorite episode is "The Short Happy Circuit of Aunt Clara", in which she blacks out the entire Eastern Seaboard by mistake. I could not picture anyone other than Marion Lorne in that role. She added a lot of levity to the show and she was downright funny. Esmerelda was sort of a replacement for her but she was never the same as Clara was to me.

For me, it was a toss-up between Aunt Clara and Endora. Polar opposites, to be sure, yet they each made an indelible impression.

That said, I had to choose Endora because she was so arch. Agnes Moorehead's every gesture and twisted expression was riveting!

My fave's Aunt Clara because she was so funny yet so lovable that even Darrin couldn't stay mad at her.
P.S. If anyone out there likes Esmeralda the best- please tell us why!

Uncle Arthur! He was so funny, and he laughed at his own jokes.

. . . in terms of watching the show, I would have to say "Uncle Arthur" because his character is funny. But if this was "reality," so to speak, I would say "Aunt Clara" because she is so nice. I could probably deal with Aunt Clara's "mistakes" easier than I could worrying about Uncle Arthur's jokes!!!!! :lol:

In the above message, what I meant was having to worry about the pranks that Uncle Arthur would pull on Darrin. I would hate having to worry about those pranks. Come to think of it, Darrin didn't have it easy, did he???? On one hand, yes, he was married to the beautiful Samantha but on the other, he was constantly worrying about pranks and spells and witches popping in at the drop of a hat . .. or is that "at the twitch of a nose????" :lol: Life wasn't easy for Darrin.

I always liked Uncle Arthur because he was just funny! Behind him would be Serena. It's a shame their wasn't more episodes with the two of them together, they were a riot! :lol:

I like Tabitha and I even like Serena cause I think that girl was funny and Tabitha was cute.

I like Aunt Clara the best. She's so kind to Darrin. I think she really likes him. And I know for sure that he likes her. He worries about her whenever she falls down the chimney or bumps into a wall. AWWWWWWWWWWW

Yeah, I like Aunt Clara too, because she was one of the only of Samantha's relatives who wasn't mean to Darrin.
