Everything they do on the set is called "acting".

The person wasnt talking about in real life. In the end of the episode it just shows shawn talking to god, hoping that mr. turner will be ok. I dont think he ever appeared on Boy Meets World after that episode. Im not sure if he died in the tv show. They never said he did.

No in a later episode, I think right around graduation from high school, Minkus was talking to Cory and Cory asked something like "what happened to you"(to minkus) and Minkus said he was down that hallway(and pointed) with Mr. Turner and that other teacher that was Mr. Turner's best friend(can't remember his name).

So no he didn't die :)

I never saw that episode

I think it was just a coincidence that that would be Mr. Turner's last episode. I think that if his character was dead, they would have made a bigger deal out of it. I mean he let Shawn live with him for a while. To me, it seemed like the only way for the writers to get Shawn out of the cult ... for him to realize how important his real friends are to him.
