man, they showing these crappy segments back to back to back...
the funny thing is, even when they have a happy ending update, they still play that scary music in the background...

I agree that I don't want to see lost love segments all the time, but I actually don't mind them occasionally. They add some vareity to the show, and they can be interesting some times.

I like the lost love segments, especially when there is a heart felt reunion.
They aren't my favorite segment, but I like them and don't mind seeing them.
My favorite ones are still Missing Person, Unexplained Death and Wanted but I really do enjoy the lost loves.
The worst stories by far are the treasure ones, then the UFO stories are not far behind.

Tonight's episode is an old one from the White intro era. First story profiles Barbara Petrosky, a woman who turned crazy on her lover, and there was a story about an old woman who left behind some fortunes when she died, and they are looking for her heirs. Those two and an update were the only ones mentioned in the intro, but I'm sure there is probably more.
I hate Lost Loves/Treasure/Aliens/UFO's/Ghosts/Psychic stories.

But I can't stand those flaky ghost,UFO or 'psychic phenonemae' ones!
BTW, I remember when they did the 'Face on Mars' one -which they totally refused to consider that it may be a natural landmark (and a 'nostril' is actually a photograph gridmark). I think the natural landmark's the most likely case- as there are quite a few 'faces' one can find in rock formations here on Earth, too. (e.g. The Old Man Profile that was in New Hampshire and featured on their state quarter but recently fell apart due to weather and age). I kinda hoped they'd have put on their trademark 'If you have any information please contact. ..' tag at the end but I guess even they figured out they'd be having every kook in the country calling them up, tying up their lines and keeping vital info from reaching them.
P.S. Some of these miserly elderly folks who died and turned out they'd left behind a fortune, I believe likely had had very unpleasant earlier lives and had deliberately hidden their family ties to prevent those they believe contributed to their unpleasant earlier lives from profitting from their passings! That was what struck me regarding the widow who secluded herself with her dogs after her husband's passing- and had evidently never mentioned the existance of her mother, stepfather or half-brother to anyone besides her late husband! For her, those 'Lost Loves' were best suited to remain lost!
