No, it will just be off the schedule for 4 (or 6) weeks. New sitcom The Big House will be airing starting April 2. Married to the Kellys will return after those weeks.

What? It's still going to have the full season order of 22 episodes...

“Married To The Kellys” will air as a one time only telecast on Fridays, April 16 & 23, 2004 in the 9:30PM-ET/PT time slot.

Please note, these two episodes will be originals with the season finale airing on April 23. "The Big House" will replace "Married to the Kellys" in its regular Fridays at 8:30PM ET/PT time slot starting Friday, April 2.



-- So this means the final two episodes for this season will air April 16 and 23, in the 9:30 p.m. slot. The Big House will air for four weeks starting April 2 at 8:30 p.m., and then in May, ABC will double up on George Lopez and/or Hope & Faith for sweeps.

Life With Bonnie will not be on for those two weeks only.

Thanks, Pav. My only question is that Married to the Kellys and life with bonnie did not get an order for more than 22 episodes this year. Both those shows will be done in April then. Are they cancelled? or being renewed? What will happen in May sweeps? i know George lopez has like 28 episodes this season and hope and faith got 26 so they will have originals. Oh this is sooooooooo stressful. I love married to the kellys and life with bonnie.

I'm not sure when Life With Bonnie's season finale is yet, but Married to the Kellys will wrap up this season on April 23 at that special time of 9:30pm. Bonnie might end in April too, I assume -- since 20 episodes would have already aired by next week. I'm guessing the week after "Kellys" ends or the week before the final two shows for "Kellys" airs. They'll probably double up on George Lopez and Hope & Faith for May sweeps.

The future of both shows will be known in mid-may, when ABC announces their fall plans. They'll probably rerun their sitcoms all summer long, like they did last year.

Life With Bonnie has a really good chance of returning, it's been very strong at 9:30pm and did, a few times at least, build on "Hope & Faith."

Married To The Kelleys, on the other hand, is Friday's weak link.
It's especially telling when ABC replaces it with repeats of "George Lopez"- the ratings for "Hope & Faith" get a boost by a million or more viewers.

ABC has alot of comedy pilots in thw works, and alot fo then look to be in strong contention. So I wouldn't expect this show back.

Personally, I don't like the show. It's not offensive or anything, but It's far too bland for my tastes. The only time I saw a hint of spark was during the episode with the lesbian

i must say, i really liked abcs replacement "Big House" alot better than Married to the Kellys
