View Full Version : hottest team in the NBA right now passionsfan79 01-15-2004, 06:40 PM is the Minnesota Timberwolves in my opinion anyways. isiahthomas 01-15-2004, 06:47 PM Yeah Minnesota is playing great. They beat the Spurs last night in San Antonio 100-93. San Antonio is one of the toughest places to play. Latrell, Kevin, Sam are awesome. When Wally & Troy come back, Minnesota is gonna be even better. Sacramento is hot right now too & so is Indiana. passionsfan79 01-15-2004, 08:04 PM I think cassell should be an all star. and for last night game it was an awesome game. along with the hornets game the night before. never had the lead till 1:45 left and ended up winning it. lets keep this winning streak alive as they are at houston rockets saturday afternoon, then at home monday evening against the hornets once again. YOU LIKE THE TIMBERWOLVES TOO?-LOL passionsfan79 01-15-2004, 11:04 PM no crap shirlockholmes at least parts of your brain is working  sinatrastar 01-16-2004, 01:30 AM The Bucks EricIdlefan 01-16-2004, 02:45 AM They really will give teams that are or have been fallen from grace like the Lakers and the Knicks and will do their best since they got Kevin Garnett and company!! ConservativeBalla 01-16-2004, 09:09 AM Yeah, the Timberwolves are getting krunk (Ha, nobody says that word anymore but me  ) this year along with the Spurs and Kings. Once the Mavericks' new players like Antawn Jamison, Antoine Walker, Travis Best, Joshua Howard, and others fall into place, we'll be a VERY strong team. We just need a big huge guy in the paint. It ticks me off that we have a 7'6" right in our lap, and he doesn't GAIN ANY WEIGHT or MUSCLE! About the Trailblazers, they look pretty good every time I see them play, why is it you don't hear a lot about them? Because theyre all ex-convicts and the media doesn't wanna give 'em much coverage? jekouptown 01-16-2004, 11:06 AM Originally posted by ConservativeBaller Yeah, the Timberwolves are getting krunk (Ha, nobody says that word anymore but me  ) this year along with the Spurs and Kings. Even if they have the lead going into the fourth quarter there is still a chance the other team can make a run. isiahthomas 01-16-2004, 12:04 PM Solomon u are a trip. What's wrong with liking Minnesota? Anyway Detroit is a hot team right now cause they've won 10 in a row. They play the Wizards tonight & they're gonna win 11 in a row LOL. Sinatrastar u think Milwaukee is hot right now? I don't think they are. They're a good team though & Terry Porter has been doing a good job as their coach so far. sinatrastar 01-16-2004, 01:25 PM They are hot, they have won thier last 10 at home. That is the hottest home record in the NBA for the last 10 home games. On the road is a different story though - not so hot. They have the red hot Pistons on Saturday, if they beat them they are still hot. isiahthomas 01-16-2004, 01:47 PM I wish Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker, Ray Allen would've never left Milwaukee. Vin Baker has been suspended again by Boston for not going to his AAA meetings for his alcohol problem. I don't know how long he's gonna be suspended. I thought he got over his drinkin problem? He was having a good season this yr. jekouptown 01-16-2004, 02:16 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas I wish Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker, Ray Allen would've never left Milwaukee. YES HE WAS. i was very happy for VIN..remembering the allstar forward from The BUCKS. sinatrastar 01-16-2004, 03:33 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas I wish Glenn Robinson, Vin Baker, Ray Allen would've never left Milwaukee. Neither Ray Allen or Big Dog wanted to leave, they got traded. The Bucks needed to unload some big contracts, and Micheal Redd is like a much cheaper version of Ray Allen. Big Dog can shoot, but not much else, he looks like he moves in slow motion and is a horrible ball handler. But he has a cool nickname. jekouptown 01-16-2004, 05:39 PM Originally posted by sinatrastar Vin Baker has been gone from the Bucks a long time. He is pretty worthless. Vin Baker is having a turn around season..he just missed one of his meetings. You have to admit his game has improved. sinatrastar 01-16-2004, 05:53 PM Baker was an All-Star at one point, to be honest I haven't followed him closely so I will take your word that he has improved. He could have been a much better player though. isiahthomas 01-17-2004, 11:38 AM Sacramento is 28-9 after beating the Lakers last night 103-83. Indiana beat the Spurs last night. Minnesota plays Houston today on ABC at 3:30 pm. I'm gonna watch that. Denver is really slipping right now in their division. They lost to Dallas last night 91-88. EricIdlefan 01-17-2004, 05:21 PM Sacremento, Minnesota!! MonarC 01-18-2004, 02:17 PM The Spurs are the hottest team even though they aren't doing too good at the moment. :D isiahthomas 01-20-2004, 12:31 PM Minnesota got embarassed by Houston Saturday. The score was 95-76. At one point in the third quarter, the score was 71-48 Houston. I turned from the game it was so embarassing. jekouptown 01-20-2004, 01:07 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas Minnesota got embarassed by Houston Saturday. The score was 95-76. I like their squad. They might make a run at the playoffs this yr. It's gonna be very tough though in their division cause the Spurs, Minnesota, Dallas, Denver, Houston are ahead of them. Hubie Brown was the best thing to happen to Memphis. He's a very good coach & Jerry West is a smart GM. jekouptown 01-20-2004, 05:17 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas Yeah Houston lost to Memphis last night 88-83. I watched the game. I've noticed since Bonzi Wells has been with Memphis, he hasn't gotten into any trouble. He better not get into trouble cause Jerry West & Hubie ain't gonna tolerate that. jekouptown 01-20-2004, 05:51 PM Originally posted by isiahthomas Naw i don't remember that. AT ONE OF THE GAMES...DURING A TIME OUT..HUBIE BACKED UP...got faint and had to be helped to his chair. Bonzi has only been there a month...if he found trouble that quick then he is ISIAH RIDER.*L* sinatrastar 01-20-2004, 06:35 PM AT ONE OF THE GAMES...DURING A TIME OUT..HUBIE BACKED UP...got faint and had to be helped to his chair Well he is about 80 .... isiahthomas 01-20-2004, 09:09 PM LOL@Hubie is about 80 yrs old hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
