You know on the front page where it shows the top ten most requested shows? Well, since Golden Girls is #10, it's right there on the list! It's funny to see all these modern wanted shows and then see "The Golden Girls" right there after 'em all, lol.... Anyway, I hope a DVD comes out soon!

I doubt it will happen, unless Lifetime loses the rights. They have a captive audience with it, and it brings a lot of viewers to the network (remember the retrospective???). So, I highly doubt it will ever come to pass...

Lifetime has no affect on whether or not this show will be released on DVD.

This August, Touchstone (Disney) -- the company that owns the rights to Golden Girls, is releasing "Boy Meets World - Season 1" on DVD.

Disney's 3 biggest shows are "Boy Meets World", "Home Improvement" and the cream of the crop.... "Golden Girls".

Im not sure if we'll see a 2004 release date.
But I would definately bet on seeing Golden Girls on DVD before 2006.
