I was watching that commercial recently that the special edition of "Annie" was released on DVD. It came out yesterday. I have the original VHS version, but I like to get the DVD sometimes. Everybody should love this movie.

I thought it already was out on DVD. Is this a special edition? I guess I'd have to get it too then, even though I already have it on video. I'm a huge Aileen Quinn fan (I'm one of the few people that have actually managed to see all of her movies). There was a making-of featurette that came out in the 80s but I've never seen. I hope it's on the DVD. You know what special features there are?

Dang, I just checked it out on Amazon. Very few special features - not even a dang commentary! (John Huston's gone, but all of the stars are still alive). Apart from that, it's not available in widescreen! That just ain't fair :(

On two episodes of "Full House" there are some references:

1. In an episode called "Star Search", Michelle, Stephanie and DJ are singing "Tomorrow" as the three sisters walked off the dressing room.

2. In an episode called "Mr. Egghead", Stephanie and Jesse was trying to pull the lever to hit the bobble clown with a boxing glove and it doesn't work. And then, Stephanie was singing a few bars of "Tomorrow" and WHAM! The machine hit Stephanie on her nose with a boxing glove.

I have the movie "Camp Nowhere" which includes a spoof where all campers are singing "Tomorrow" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember" in which Minnie Me was singing a rendition of "A Hard Knock Life".

I was watching the Super Bowl almost 2 weeks ago. Right after the halftime show, many of the NFL players and coaches are singing a rendition of "Tomorrow" from "Annie" which it was used for a commercial for the new NFL Network. I saw it on TV recently.
