No and forever. Obviously more than forever if I haven't gotten it yet.

And no, I'm not mad that I haven't gotten anything. I'm just...shocked? Disappointed? I dunno.

You still haven't gotten anything back yet, Dawsongirl?

Don't feel bad, neither have I.:(

I'm still debating whether or not to write him again. ...decisions, decisions!

You either? Well, I know he can be slow. But I keep thinking it got lost in the mail. Or I scared him with my letter.

I was watching the E True Hollywood Story when the Feud was a two-hour special subject and if you want to get Rich's autograph, it will be a long wait because he has pulled a "Johnny Carson" keeping a very, very, low profile and not speaking to the media and keeping his private life very guarded and private!!

I finally received an autographed picture from Richard today! It was nice. It was the usual pic of Richard in front of a Family Feud logo and it said what he usually writes(from what I've seen others get): Dear___, Love and Peace! Richard Dawson.
While it is nice to receive it, I am kind of disappointed that he did not sign and send back my faux Match Game cards I made to match the blue cards they used on Match Game. It kind of makes me wonder if he even read my letter.
Or maybe he just misinterpreted my letter(I had said he could keep the extra one(I sent two) if he wanted; maybe he just kept them both, who knows. Or maybe he just threw them out. I'd hate to think that he would do that, but then again, who knows.
I'll just have to think that maybe he just thought they were pieces of board to keep the envelope from getting crinkled and threw them out unintentionally.

Ah well, I'm happy at least to finally get a response! At least that gives me hope to still receive something from Charles Nelson-Reilly!

I Love Carol Burnett!

Hmm...don't know about that one. I hope he read it too. And I hope my letter ended up under a machine at the post office and NOT at his house.

Yep...Cathy, I told you before I got mine...I haven't mailed it out yet (I didn't go by the PO today), but I will TRY in the morning...

Richard's page @ Star Archive has been really busy. A whooping 9 people (me included) all got something from him in the last 4 days...Before that, the last success from him was in January. Before that, July 2003. :D

 At least you can say he replys, unlike some stars. And they aren't preprints.

Maybe Richard still has a thing against Match Game after all these years, hence why he didn't sign the cards.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that when I sent them.

Maybe the minute he saw them he went into a crazed frenzy of rage and tore them to pieces!
