Since JJ was supposedlysuch an accomplished artist and they made points to display his artwork throughout the show, my question to the forum is....

Who was the actual artist for the show that painted all those portraits including the self portrait and the painting that was always displayed at the end of the show detailing the "ghetto activity".

Just interested to see if there is any kind of artwork like that still available anywhere.

I can't remember but I thinks it the same guy who did the Marvin Gaye lp cover of the pool hall/ juke joint. :confused:

You're right, Ernie Barnes' painting was used as the cover for Marvin Gaye's "I Want You" album. Hey, is that you? Marvin G?;)
