There won't be any episode next week because of the 'State of the Union' address. ABC will air two episodes of 'According to Jim' instead.

That stinks that 8 Simple Rules will not be airing this Tuesday. I would love to see the season 1 episodes. I only saw the Halloween episode from Season 1, and I thought it was really good. Ever since then I've been a fan of this show :) I hope that someday in the future John Ritter's family, the cast of "8 Simple Rules", and ABC will make a decision to be willing to put ALL the episodes of this show on DVD and VHS! :) I think that would make a lot of fans happy! :)

I Think 8 Simple rules sould air a rerun this week insted of both episodes of According to Jim beacuse 8 Simple Rules is one of there biggest hit and sould at least air 8 Simple Rules 8:00 and According to Jim at 8:30 then the State of the Union Address and plus I want to see a John Ritter Episode I did not see the Season First Episode so air that and since he died the show never on reuns anymore?

I agree, it's one their biggest hits (if not the biggest) and ABC seems to be putting it on the back burner lately

They should at least keep 8 Simple Rules on this Tuesday's lineup, even though they have the state of the union address.

Just put the State of teh Union online and don't air it on TV at all. That way people can watch what they really want to watch!

State of the Union is the biggest speech of the year. It'll always be on every network as long as they give them. Personally, I don't see the need for it to be on 15 channels anyway(at least on my cable dial). If people want to watch it, they can always watch it on CNN, MSNBC, or Fox News Channel.
