I was just listening to this song and i thought it was a perfect song for sam and diane becasue once they got together, they knew they were the only two other people in the world that could make each other happy. It is a pretty popular song though so i'm sure many of you have heard it already.

The song that they picked for "I do, Adieu" was perfect.

"What'll I do?"

I dont really see how that song fits.
Come to think of it.... at this logic.... any love song would fit.
(which most songs are.... love songs)

I agree! I was on the verge of tears the first time I heard it. The last line is so sad! "When I'm alone with only dreams of you that won't come true, what'll I do?" Uf!! I really wanted them to end up together. I totally agree that it was a dysfunctional relationship, but it was GOOD dysfunctional.

2. "You're Still The One", "From This Moment On" & "Forever & For Always" by Shania Twain.
I luv country music so those songs are my pick for Sam & Diane songs. :)

Sorry to bump this up from so long ago, but I just found another song that I think fits Sam and Diane perfectly. Every time I hear it, I think of Diane's final scene when she leaves Sam to write her book. The song's called "Smile" by Lonestar. :D

Theres this Yellowcard song called Firewater and the chorus reminds me of when Sam and Diane broke up and Sam started drinking again. It goes: "Can I swallow this bottle whole so this brain in my head can forget your face?" :lol:
