Quite awhile ago I posted something about a Montana woman named Patricia Meehan who was in a car accident in rural Montana. After the accident took place, she mysteriously disappeared from the scene. No one was killed or even seriously injured in the accident, and so people aren't quite sure what happened to her. Some believe that she has a rare form of amnesia. Anyone remember this case? If so, I'd be curious to know what you think.

I think I remember that story. She simply walked away into the darkness after the accident and wasn't seen again. Later they did an update about someone fitting her description being seen in several places. That was the lastest news I saw of her anywhere.

I could be wrong though. Anyone have more info?

Yeah there were a few of the amnesia cases. I find them very tragic because they could happen to anyone. They always have updated results. It is very sad when they can't remember anyone even thier family.

What sticks out about this case in my mind is when she walked into the field and it was dark. This big field and she kept walking into the darkness. Kinda scary. The way they filmed the whole thing. I think this was the one wasn't it? Am I mistaken? Didn't she also have some psychological problem(s) in her past that she needed help with?

Yeah, that's the case. She had some problems before the accident occured, such as being evasive and detatched, from what I remember. The scariest part was when they showed a "haunting self portrait" that she had taken of herself in front of a mirror. They found the picture in an undeveloped roll of film. The really freaked me out, and still scares me to this day.

Amen to that. I remember this story, too, and always thought it was eerie. I've never seen an update to this story, but I'm afraid she'll probably never be found.

I didn't remember this at first, but I totally remember the ''self portrait'' in the mirror. Yes, that was very eerie.

Montana is a huge state with a small population. My guess is that she collapsed from lack of food and water, and then a wild animal got to her body. It’s possible her bones could still be found. Or maybe, just maybe, she’s still alive! Ya never know!
