I read in US weekly that Amy Yasbeck (widow of John Ritter) may appear in an 8 simple rules guest appearance most likely during sweeps for February or May.

Does anyone know what role she will play???

WOW REally? IS this a rumored or something?? Cuz I thought she stoped acting and not acting for a while sicne Ritter's death..but uhh a caller asked if Jason Ritter will be in any of 8SR episodes and Sagel didn't say "NO" or anything. SHe just said that if we saw him on the People's Choice Awards.. So, I guess that might be true Yasbeck back on TV on her husband's show..kind of weird, will her daughter be there??

On Larry King Live last night, someone asked Katey if Amy will ever appear on the show and Katey said that there aren't any plans for that right now. I would love to see it happen, but it's probably just a rumor.

It would be fitting to have her and Stella on there in some sort of tribute episode perhaps next season, it might be too sudden to do it this year since Ritter has only been gone for about 4 months now.

RIP John Ritter.
