Actually I care a helluva lot what people think of me.

i used to be obsessed with what people think of me..but now, i dont...and my life is all the better.

Well let's just say I don't care as much as I used to. I used to be so overly concerned about what people thought about me but now I only care about what certain people think. Those random people that I'm never going to see again, I don't care if they think I am a crazy, immature, bitch, whatever they want to think. But then there are the people you are trying to make an impression with or want them to think highly of you and I do care about what they think.

I don't care at all what anybody thinks of me. As long as I am happy with who I am, then I am okay. I'm not gonna change myself just so somebody else will like who I am. If you don't like who I am, then you can just go away. Maybe I sound mean, but I just don't care what everybody thinks of me.

If you truly didn't care what people thought of you you'd not shower, wouldn't take care of youself etc.

I truly believe the older you become the less you care what people think of you; sometimes I care, especially if it's from my family, but complete strangers, i did not care and it took me a long time to gain this confidence..You need to realy love yourself, without being pompous or arrogant...If you care too much of what people think of you, try to change that way of thinking for it will only make you feel worse about yourself..There is nothing wrong being yourself, without worrying what some stupid stranger, whom you never going to see again, thinks...Just live your life and enjoy it to the fullest...

I think that's what my problem is...I have really bad self-confidence and I hate myself. It doesn't show, but that's how I feel.

It's literally ruining my whole life, though. I'm not social at all... I don't go out with friends...I don't do ANYTHING. And it's just basically because I worry too much about other people hating me because I already do myself.

Most people who know me would probably say that I don't care at all, but yeah I care- I care what my friends think of what I'm doing or how I'm acting and I do care about their opinions of me, as for people in general, I really don't care what they think of me.

I Always did Crazy off the wall stuff In School because i wanted to stand out from everyone. Sometimes people thought it was funny, Sometimes people Didnt. Either way everyone In My Entire School Knew who i was.

And for the record, I Once went 2 weeks without bathing. While it was fun Not bathing and smelling funny....It wasnt so fun being sent home from School to take a bath. Ok, Maybe A LITTLE Fun.

But when people make negative comments on the way I dress or wear my hair or whatever, I just blow them off. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me anymore like it did when I was still in school. There's so much more important stuff to worry about now.

thats not true... i shower twice a week and everyone thinks its gross but i dont care because i care about how clean i am and i shower when i think i need to, not when everyone else thinks i need to. and everyone thinks its the most disgusting thing that im still wearing my paper admission bracelet from the fair 3 months ago but i dont care, i think its funny.

I wish I didn't care what people think, but I do.

The only time I care what people think of me is if I care about them. If I'm not particularly fond of someone, they could hate my guts, and it wouldn't faze me in the least.

I've found that the older I get, the less I care what people think about me. I recall my mother telling me that happened to her when she hit her 40s.

I figure if I lead a decent life and treat others well, I'm doing my part. I used to be a people pleaser when I was younger, but those days are over, thank God.

There are a few fringe benefits that come with maturing. :)

If people cared what other people thought of them all the time, u would never get anywhere in life. People are gonna always be critical of people, that's just how the world is. I used to get tired of my peers in junior high & high school crackin jokes about me but i realized that i can't get mad when people say stuff about me cause i talk about people too. Some people i believe have committed suicide cause of people talkin about them all the time. I remember watching a episode of Walker Texas Ranger tv show & this white fat boy jumped off a school building & killed himself cause he was always getting picked on at school. Getting picked on does bother that person inside. I read a article about bullies in this weekly magazine i get every Saturday with the newspaper called Parade. The article had asked kids from different cities in america what did they think of bullies & have they ever been picked on. This one kid said he used to be a bully but when he saw how he was hurting people, he stopped being a bully.
