I thought that the cast members of 8 Simple Rules (minus Katey Sagal and James Garner) maintained their composure well last night during a difficult time. It was evidently very hard (Martin Spanjers could barely choke out his piece) but poignant and well done.

In a sort of related story, it was nice to see Jason Ritter on stage as a part of the acceptance for his new show, just as his dad had been last year.
