I was watching new episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent last night & i noticed that the white lady who's usually with Vincent D'Onfornio wasn't on the show last night. When did she leave the show? I saw a preview of a episode for next week & she's supposed to be returning for one episode i guess. What is her real name by the way & what was her name on the show? Who is this new woman that is Vincent's partner? Vincent is so good. He's a excellent cop on the show. He's very smart & he analyzes things. He lets nothin get past him. Suzanne Douglas who used to play on the tv show Parent Hood as Robert Townsend's wife was on the show last night but i think that episode was a rerun. I think i saw it before. The episode was about this basketball player getting killed cause he knew too much cause there was some illegal stuff going on on the team & the coach killed him. What is Vincent's name on the show?

Anyway the red head was a substitute while the blond partner was on maternity leave. In the episode before last Goren got a page on his phone that she had a 7 pound something ounce baby.

His name on the show is Bob Goren and the lady who usually plays his partner just had her baby so they used her understudy until she got back from maternity leave!!

Just wanting to clear things up.... i'm a huge CI fan, but I haven't seen all the episodes. I was watching these episodes from USA , season 3 I believe, so did the character EAmes get preg. on the show?? How did they play off her maternity leave?

A friend told me a while back that the two main characters were not on the show due to exhaustian and will return at some point. This was when they had substitutes. But the exhaustian was really on the male actor. But both were being replaced for a time.

Now I don't know how recent this was.... but I didn't hear about the pregnancy thing. This could have been before hand. Because the new female had brown hair... I remember now.
