EAGLES sinatrastar 01-11-2004, 09:53 PM Hooray for the Eagles, even though they didnt deserve to win that one. Nice pass Favre. ilovekosmo 01-11-2004, 09:55 PM that pass was a joke. Ofcourse, since since everybody is so far up his rear, they wont blame it on him, they will come up with an excuse. sinatrastar 01-11-2004, 09:59 PM The funny thing is if it would have been caught they would have called him a genius or something. He had two earlier throw ups like that that got caught for long passes. He has always made bone-headed plays, but not these jump ball type passes. The Destiny talk can now end. I live in Wisc. and was getting very sick of it. Dutabi84 01-11-2004, 10:35 PM Thank God! I hope this leads to his eventual retirement...the aweful NFC North would definetly belong to the Vikings again! MillenniumMan831 01-11-2004, 10:53 PM I guess Favre told Fox that the only way he'd consider retirement is if he won the Super Bowl. That didn't happen, so he'll probably be back. BTW, I'd crack up if McNabb was in a Visa commercial with Brett Favre (Who endorses MasterCard). They can be sitting on the couch watching today's game when it shows Favre throw an INT. McNabb can quip, "I'd have thrown it to my check down guy." Later, a clip of Favre sacked. "I'd have scrambled . . . but that's just me," McNabb can state. Eh, I dunno. sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 12:38 AM Good idea, but unless Favre got to make a comment like that about McNabb losing the ball, I doubt he would go for it. sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 12:39 AM With the Eagles title I originally thought this was going to be a thread about the Desperado loving character Brett. (Elaine's boyfriend) MillenniumMan831 01-12-2004, 01:14 AM Originally posted by sinatrastar Good idea, but unless Favre got to make a comment like that about McNabb losing the ball, I doubt he would go for it. Maybe Favre and his wife can play a game of flag football with McNabb and his mom in the Campbell's Bowl. Brian Damage 01-12-2004, 10:59 AM 4th and 26!!! How the heck do you let a reciever get open!!! sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 11:28 AM LOL, not sure, but they almost had the tight end in the same place on 3rd and 26. It is fitting, the Packers only made the playoffs because the Cardinals made a 4th and 28 against the Vikings. MillenniumMan831 01-12-2004, 01:19 PM Yep . . . plus, the Eagles were 0-2 at the beginning of the season before winning. They are 0-2 in their last two NFC Title Games. Will they break that streak? . . . I think so. ilovekosmo 01-12-2004, 02:10 PM i went to the second game against the pats, it was horrible, the game was total torture. And now, were in the nfc championship. But im nervous bout the panthers. And favre should retire. The prob is, they can never fire or replace..... him. He owns that team and town.:D   sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 04:56 PM I dont think he should retire, he just still makes a lot of stupid throws, other than that he is great. Brian Damage 01-12-2004, 05:11 PM Yesterday's loss was not Favre's fault. I blame Lewis. sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 05:29 PM Who is Lewis? Brian Damage 01-12-2004, 07:40 PM Mike Sherman LOL I'm sorry. I always confuse Mike Sherman with Sherm Lewis. I have no idea why. sinatrastar 01-12-2004, 07:56 PM LOL, one is white and one is black, at least you dont think in terms of color (ala George when he is talking to Carl the Exterminator, "I guess Jerry is white, I dont think of color"). Well Sherman Lewis was the Offensive Coordinator in Green Bay for a while, and they also had Fritz Shermer as a Defensive Coordinator. So Sherman Lewis and Mike Sherman are two names that you can easily confuse. |
