My place could be warmer, but it's only 5 degrees here in Boston. I've got my oven on and the door to it open, so that helps. I'm wearing sweats too.

It's going to be 2 degrees tomorrow. Really, two degrees....and the Patriots have a playoff game at home tomorrow night against the Tennessee Titans.

I wish it was cold down here. I think it's in the 40s or something, that's too warm for this time of the year.

My feet were cold too. I found a pair of my husband's thermal socks from the days when he worked outside. They go nicely with my fleece-lined moccasin slippers. :)

Are there any heavy type socks that you can wear....or even wear two pairs of regular socks?

It's like 6 here right now...to top it off we had a "faulty smoke detector" go off during third period in school today. And I was practically freezing all day even if I was inside...like teeth chattering cold, for at least a few days now.

My place is pretty warm. I had new windows put in a few years ago and that really helps keep the draft out. It is really cold outside though.

Hey!!
I was at work the other day and I couldn't get warm. I was wearing like five layers, but I still couldn't warm up, and the heater couldn't keep up with the cold. I work in a store, so the doors are always opening and the counter is right by the doors, so that doesn't help. I'm glad that I'm warm now!!

I hate you all - it was about 60 here today. so many people were sweating on the first day of class. blah, I don't want to be back in the states. I want to go back to zero and below temperatures (C), cold, mountain winds, and no physics.

It was -20 here in the morning, and right now it's -5.

The worse thing is...my school's effing ********, there's this "faulty smoke detector" that's been going off...ya know, NOW, the freaking coldest it's been in a long time...so yesterday during gym this "faulty smoke detector" goes off. I'm in effing short sleeves. Okay...so we go outside. Now, yeah...it was cold. I was freezing...but I sort of forgot about that when I got short of breath from the air blowing in my face. So I run to the door so I can breath in normal air...thank God there's no teacher standing there to yell at me. I couldn't ****ing breath, so I just stood there half outside and half inside with these two other kids who refused to go out in the first place...until this one guy told us to go back outside, but by then it was time to go in. That happens to me when it gets really cold and windy...I can NOT breath.
