View Full Version : vintage w/commercials stuff for trade/sale

I'm new here and thought I'd aquant those with what I have. Some of the most popular stuff I have are My Patty Duke Show collection(most are longer 24minute syndicated versions and 8 uncut with some original ads), The original ABC Charlie's Angels broadcasts, my 1979/80 syndicated Solid Gold episodes (both mostly with thier original commercials intact) and my compiled commercial tapes (1960's through 80's)

For trade, I'm always wanting other vintage with commercial stuff (1970's most of all). Also looking for:

Nice (hopefully uncut)copies of David McCallum's "Invisable Man" series

the 1975 documenary on JAWS done locally where they were filming it at the time

the full (beyond the 2 hour version I already have)version of "Frankenstein: The True Story"

Network TV versions of films like "Carrie" (with the replaced non nude shower opening scene and other alternate edits to fit 1970's standards and practices), Two Minute Warning (with the added "art heist" subplot for TV).

1970's commercials I don't have. Especially "The Tidy Bowl Man" commercials and an anti liter commercial using the animated Star trek cast.

There are other things I might be interested in that I can't think of right now. Usually, if it qualifies as 1970's and rare, I'd be interested.

In other words, you may have something that I want, that I don;t even know I want yet :)

With commercial network broadcasts on the date indicated unless
otherwise noted. Shows are in no particular order. Some of this material has not been viewed yet due to them being recent additions. Some dates given for the shows may not be accurate (since some are given to me by others and are not confirmed by me). Email if interested for more

It's marked 2/6/73 on the tape (not sure which date is correct). Anyway, it has Orsen Bean, Bobby Daren, Seals And Croft and Joan Embry. Johnny does an El-Mouldo skit

I found the Superman tape I listed and also a couple others. The difference with those couple others (and the reason why they weren't listed)is that the commercials are cut. All are from circa 1980-81. Each tape has 4 episodes but only 1 tape has commercials intact.

The shows are film prints and they are edited by the station. Some of the time, the original taper started taping to late to get the absolute start of the opening credits. A couple of shows cut off before the absolute end of the closing credits but most play out until the end.

Once show has a generic vintage preview for Superman. It's tells you to tune in next time and shows clips of the shows, but doesn't refer to a specific episode.

I'm looking up titles and will post titles (more than a few times when the station edited the show, the took a bit out from the start that had the episode title).

Sometimes I don't even know what I have in this Beta tapes lot I got some time ago. I found 2 more tapes of Superman. I'll get back to you on those as well but how about 10 dollars a tape for what you want and if you have a trade list let me see that too and maybe you can trade instead of pay for some of them.
