I have a friend who is now a cop. Will the department let me call him on a personal call? And will the department call me back? Even if I block my number?

if you mean you want to talk to him just for the heck of it, then no.

Shouldn't you be asking your friend this question? How would we know what the policies are for his personal phone calls at work? If he's your friend, surely you have a home phone number for him and needn't disturb him at work. How old are you, anyway?? This is a silly question, IMO.

I know that there's a number other then 911 that you can call on, you'll haveta ask him tho. Just don't call him on 911...you're prolly not gonna get him...

That's just plain pathetic. If he has a cell phone, contact him that way.

I was just going to post that. Besides, you will have a better chance of reaching him on his cell.

And I have absolutely no way of contacting him, unless I call everyone with his last name in the phone book or call every police department in my county.

Good grief....what's going on here? If this person is your *friend,* you should have his telephone number--at least his HOME NUMBER, know his FIRST NAME (so you COULD look him up in the phone book) AND you should know where he works. I know all those things about my "FRIENDS." Why are you obsessed with stalking him down at his police dept...and how do you even know he ACTUALLY WORKS at a police dept? Like I said...you don't seem to know your "friends" very well, dearie. Sounds like a bunch of weirdo stuff to me. I can just hear you on the phone:

"911...what is your emergency?"

"Uh...ummm...welll...I am an idiot bubble-brained stalker who didn't bother to ask my new "friend" where he works or what his number is..so could you dial all the local police departments for me because I can't function in life" BUHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
