She annoys me. She can't have a hit song unless she has some other person in it(Sean Paul, Jay-z). But shes hot so whatever.

I loved her in Destiny's Child. But as a solo artist, she turned into "just another one named "hot" r&b female vocalist who has to resort to rappers on every single". And it's a shame too. I loved Destiny's Child, and then her solo stuff does nothing for me. And DC didn't need guest stars to make their songs hits (except Wyclef in NO NO NO, but that was their first single).

Why do all r&b singers feel the need to use rappers in order to get airplay? it's selling out IMO.

She is a great performer and vocalist, but I thought that Dangerously In Love was overrated. People act like that was her best work ever, but they seem to forget that her work with DC was 100x greater.

i like her, but not her solo work.

I like her, and I did like Dangerously In Love, but she was better as a member of Destiny's Child.

I love her song The Closer I Get To U on her cd with Luther Vandross. They did a beautiful job of remaking that classic song which was done by Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway. I might have to get her solo cd. I've liked all her videos so far. I think she should stay away from movies though. I haven't seen her Fighting Temptations movie with Cuba Gooding Jr but it probably sucked. Her Carmen movie that came on MTV was horrible.

I wish she wasn't with Jay-Z cause i want her. She is so hot. She is the most beautifullest r&b female singer i've seen in a long time. She got the total package. She seems like she has a nice personality, she's very attractive & has a nice body.

all r&b singers?? Are you including Anita Baker, Musiq Soulchild, Seal, Anthony Hamilton, Donnie, Jaheim, Jill Scott, Dionne Farris, Dwele, Heather Headley, Boyz II Men, Maxwell, Rahsaan Patterson, Will Downing, Sade, Seal, Angie Stone, Vivian Green, Avant, Carl Thomas, K-ci & Jojo, Kenny Lattimore, Lisa Stansfield, Marc Dorsey, Regina Belle, India.Arie, Terence Trent D'arby in "all"? Even in a case where an artist (Me'Shell Ndegeocello) did get a rapper (Redman) on her single, she got minimal airplay, if any.

I meant most of the ones currently on top 40 radio. Ala Beyonce, Mya, Ashanti and co. Seems like all the r&b artists getting top 40 radio play nowadays are hooking up with currently hot rappers. I know it's popular right now, but still... there are fans out there who like one and not the other. People found Fred Durst "Selling out" for goign onstage with Christina on the VMA's a few years ago, is that different than Jay-Z working with Mariah, Beyonce and J. Lo?

I don't completely consider Seal r&b, I think he's kind of a more "hybrid" artist, someone like Prince or David Bowie where he really isn't classifyable for one genre

I love Beyonce, and I dont like her songs just because she gets rappers and stuff to sing with her. Jay-Z and her have been dating (even though they dont publicly announce it), so I dont blame her for having him work with her. And, not for anything.. but most radio stations take out the 'rap' part of songs. They did for Crazy In Love and for Lil Kims part in Lady Marmalade. Not to mention in Waterfalls.
