What always irked me about Olivia coming into the Huxtable household was how she was forced to call Claire & Cliff Mrs. & Dr. Huxtable. That made no sense to me. Seems like she woulda called them Grandma & Grandpa Huxtable if anything, if they were gonna be so formal. I mean at first is one thing but over time that made no sense! Especially as noted elsewhere on this board it seemed like they treated Olivia better than their own grandchildren, Nelson & Winnie!

I know what ur saying. They didn`t pay nearly as much attention to Winnie and Nelson as Olivia.

That is so true! Remember when Cliff's father took Olivia to the circus but he didn't want to take Winnie and Nelson? Cliff asked him to take them because he was tired but he wouldn't do it. Why couldn't he take all 3 of them? Sondra was so upset about Claire and her mother in law "stealing" her babies why didn't she rant about that?

Oliva was not Denise Daughter so why would she call Cliff and Claire Grandma and Granpa like Winnie and Nelson?

This is true she wasn't Denise's daughter but you kind of think they could have use some term of endearment to call them.

It seemed like nobody payed attention to Winnie and Nelson that much.
