Those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Nothing can touch the stories & great ensemble cast of the brilliant St. Elsewhere. Though ER would come in a close second.
M*A*S*H would be my third favorite.

St Elsewhere was the best one if you ask me.

I also liked China Beach which may be more a war show than a medical drama. I liked this show but I hate MASH which I find extremely depressing. Dana Delaney, Marg Helgenberger and the other actors were great and it didn't run on and on for years and years.

I also liked an ancient show called The Nurses from 1962-65. Very well made, but not seen in syndication much at all.
