View Full Version : Fan who ONLY likes a good murder
canadianmysterygrl 01-06-2004, 01:01 PM I never enjoyed the occult or alien cases.:ufo: I found the love love ones OK a bit but I always loved a murder case. I didn't like the Religous themed cases...you know...Virgin Mary sightings, crying statues.... etc....:nonono:
I just liked plain old crimes.
Anyone else like me?
Did you go make popcorn when there were alien abductions being profiled???????????popcorn:
Brent88 01-06-2004, 01:04 PM I turned the channel during anything about aliens or supernatural things. I liked the Wanted/Unexplained death and Missing Persons segments best. Lost Loves were OK.
canadianmysterygrl 01-06-2004, 01:51 PM We are 2 of a kind. I am exactly the same. I just hated the alien stuff. They could have knocked all that off and I would have been thrilled. I just like crime.:eek2:
canadianmysterygrl 01-06-2004, 01:53 PM BTW How do I add pic to my name area?
80s90sFanatic 01-06-2004, 06:38 PM yeah I hate the alien, the supernatual or even the treasure cases so much, though then that others are great, especially the murder cases.
FanfromES 01-07-2004, 02:56 PM i dont like stories that cant be proved and are based only in what a witness says, like aliens, miracles, ghosts. Sooner or later the most of them are discovered to be false, but when this happens it never get attention from the media.
What i like about UM is that the murder/missing stories are real and thats what it makes them so scary.
80s90sFanatic 01-07-2004, 02:57 PM I agree with you FanfromES
canadianmysterygrl 01-07-2004, 06:28 PM I always view those alien ones as fakes and the crop circle poop makes me bored sick.
FanfromES 01-08-2004, 09:05 PM This is a good site that explain some of the so-called paranormal mysteries appeared in UM and other shows.

mysteryboy 05-13-2004, 04:05 PM I completely agree with you canadianmysterygrl, I watched the show for the murder stories, missing persons etc. The alien episodes drove me crazy, same as the ghost & lost love stories. I always wondered how they could keep the show on the air with all that junk being added to it. I would turn the show off when those stories were featured.
Tap Dancer 01-27-2006, 04:19 PM I enjoy missing persons, unexplained deaths, murder stories, and (some) ghost stories. I don't care about lost loves or aliens.
LooksLikeCRicci 01-27-2006, 04:25 PM I'm with you guys... while I don't MIND the Lost Loves segments, I wish they would have spent more time on Unexplained Deaths, Wanted, and Missing Persons segments.
I never cared for alien, ghost, miracle, or treasure segments. Albeit, they were interesting, but I could have done without them.
PrettyinPink55 01-27-2006, 05:44 PM I am so totally with you guys on this! The murder/wanted/missing/unexplained death, etc have ALWAYS been my favorites. I like the crime stories.
I don't really care for the alien/treasure, etc. Some of them, like CRicci said are interesting, but my favorite Unsolved Mysteries segments were the crime ones.
-TRANCE- 01-27-2006, 06:21 PM I love them all.
Tony Ballesteros 01-27-2006, 08:30 PM i love when some young guy dies and the parents are convinced the police are involved.
greatgarrett2 02-12-2006, 10:53 PM I agree with trace, in the respect that I love them all.
The Crime ones are good in that they are based on fact. I'm not saying the other ones aren't, due to the fact I am a very spiritual person. But, True Crime, you KNOW is true. Some of my favs:
Ted Binion case-a Las Vegas casino manager/owner is found dead the day after he reporedly wrote his girlfriend out of his will.
Sonny Liston-A boxer found dead due to a suspected heroin overdose. His friends and family belive he was murdered because he wouldn't throw a fight when he was told to.
Any suggestions on good murder stories?
I would like to see Son of Sam, parts one and two.

justins5256 02-13-2006, 02:58 AM Any suggestions on good murder stories?
I would like to see Son of Sam, parts one and two.
The Son of Sam segments should be required viewing for all UM fans. Watch for them. As far as other murder stories, you can't go wrong with just about anything from the specials on up until season five (1993) or so.
