View Full Version : Three's Company season 10?

Three's Company lasted 8 seasons, but I think it could have lasted at least 10 if they did the following things...

1. Do Not have a Ropers Spin Off. The Ropers should have remained the landlords during the entire shows airing.

2. Have Mr. Furley join the cast as planned, but he could be the maintence guy rather than the new landlord. The Ropers would have had to share their air time, but it would have been great to have more episodes with Furley And The Ropers.

3. Mrs. Roper should have had a crush on Mr. Furley because he was such a macho. But Mr. Furley wouldn't like Mrs. Roper. So it would be the opposite of Mr. Furley and Lana's relationship.

4. Keep Lana as a reoccuring character as well. Perhaps every 5 episodes of so, Lana could come back. So you'd end up having an episode where Lana wants Jack, Mr Furley wants Lana, Mrs. Roper wants Mr. Furley and Mr. Roper wants to beat up Mr. Furley because he thinks Mr. Furley is flirting with Mrs. Roper, even though it's the other way around.

5. Cindy should have also remained a reoccuring character until the show ended, instead of just reoccuring here and there for about 10 episodes. She wouldn't even have to do much with the plot. Just have her 10 second cameo, perhaps at the ending tag scene of the show. In the episode, Maid To Order she was getting paid to keep the apartment clean for the trio. So that would have been a perfect place for her. Basically, Cindy would just be another joke that was there for the show IF needed.

6. When Jack finally got his bistro, Jack should have had Felipe hired as his chef, instead of a no name/no line actor. Thus, Felipe would be another reoccuring character for all the episodes that revolved around The Bistro.

7. On the very last episode, Terri went to Hawaii, Janet got married and Jack was going to live with Vicki.

Instead of it being the last episode ever, it COULD have been the last episode of season 9 or 10. So at the end of season 9 or 10, have Terri written off the show as she moves to Hawaii. Jack never meets Vicki and Janet meets Phil, but they don't get married. So the new plot for season 11 could be...

Jack and Janet HAVE TO move into the place where Three's A Crowd takes place because it's the only place Jack And Janet could afford by themselves. Janet dates Phil, who would be a re-occuring character for awhile, but nobody will believe that Jack and Janet are not hooking up, even though they are living together.

Cindy and Lana could be written off the show at this point.

Larry, Furley and The Ropers could visit when they show up from time to time to eat at the Bistro. Felipe would still be the chef.

And there is always room for NEW characters.

I know the scenario of Jack and Janet moving out together is kind of a stretch. But if they did the first 6 things I suggested they could have lasted 10 seasons. 10 seasons would have been better than 8.

What do you think?

I love ur idea of having the Ropers and RF together!!!!:D I can never pick between one they are both so great!

I think Lana was funny at times! and having her and Cindy in the show would bring ideas for new story lines! So I can see that!

And I like the Felipe thing too! I thought he was funny really, annoying sometimes but funny...better then nothing!

And Terri can get marry or something, so she wont' have to leave alone!

AND I LOVE YOUR IDEA ABOUT NO VICKY! No Philip would be good too~! and that way Jack and Janet can hook up! That would be GREAT!:D

To bad we can't go back in time:(

I liek all the ideas except I would have brought Chrissy back in Season 6 and have Terri live with Mr. Furley and be like his niece or something and have Chrissy be the 3rd roomate as it originally was except have Chrissy not be so dumb, like she was in Season 1 and 2.

i think that those ideas are great!

but see with me i dont mind phillip or vicky. well dont get me wrong i hate the fact that they stole our characters away but i thought that tac should have been about janet and phillip moving in next to jack and vicky. then you could have terri say she was going to hawaii but really move in with larry.(they could have had a secret romance). ;) then those two find a place by jack, janet , vicky, and phillip. see TAC! they all live near eachother but not with eachother. that way you can still see all your fav. roomies and add new characters and living arrangements for more episodes. its a win, win situation!:D

those ideas are amazing, i totally agree with all of them especially the one about having cindy as a reoccuring character because it's bull that she was only brought in for a handful of episodes and then rarely seen again. i love all of your ideas and if you would have been a writer for three's company we would most likely have two more seasons to enjoy
