It'll be
MARBURY
HOUSTON
VAN HORN
THOMAS
MUTOMBO

Penny will be coming off the bench, probably ahead of Shandon Anderson. I think it's a good trade for the Knicks cause I'm a Starbury fan.

I would love to see the damn Scott Layden's face right now. In three plus years all he could here for the Knicks do is bring in Antonio McDyess who didn't play for two years and replace an exciting player like Sprewell with a softee like Keith Van Horn (although he's been playing better lately.) In just two weeks, Isiah Thomas got rid of McDyess, Clarence Weatherspoon, Howard Eisley etc and gave us Stephon Marbury. That by itself makes Layden look even worse than he already was.

Scott's face would be having dropping his jaw and Antonio should do good for the team and Sprewell, though an excellent player is a troublemaker and Van Horn has been playing well and Isiah Thomas is cleaning house there!! He's an old-school kind of man!!(size 3 text)

Nah, no matter what it's a good trade. After Ewing the Knicks never really do anything with their draft picks and Eisley, Ward and McDyess wouldn't take the Knicks any farther than they've gone already. Starbury won't make the Knicks any worse than they already been, and the excitement he's gonna bring playing in the Garden in front of NY fans is a plus.

I hope Stephon stays out of trouble too now that he's back home where he was born. He's never really been in trouble all that much since he's been in the league. I remember Stephon was in Nas's Hate Me Now video. Was he in a Fat Joe video before? I saw him in Fabolous & Nate Dogg's Can't Deny It video too. What other rap videos has he been in? He obviously likes to hang with rappers & street dudes. Ain't nothin wrong with that as long as he does nothin stupid. LOL@Knicks losing to Cleveland last night 107-96. Knicks should've beat them. Stephon only had 8 points & Penny had 6 points.

Ward fan curses Thomas

Isiah Thomas experienced the ugly side of New York last night. As the Knicks were being crushed by the Rockets, Thomas was confronted by an irate fan who began shouting profanities at Thomas for trading Charlie Ward. The man, who was wearing a Ward jersey, was quickly removed from the arena.
Thomas, who watches home games from the tunnel at center court, left the arena immediately after the game and was not available for comment.

jekouptown, was that you at the game?

The fans in New York last night was chanting fire Don Cheaney in the 3rd quarter hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Don has never been a good coach. Was he a good coach with Houston Rockets back in the 80's? I think he did alright with them.

isiahthomas, you're right. I just checked Chaney's record with Houston, he wasn't that bad, i wonder what happened.

1988 Houston 45 37 .549
1989 Houston 41 41 .500
1990 Houston 52 30 .634
1991 Houston 26 26 .500

Too bad the knicks had to beat the Bucks. That refereeing was Horrible! They called a 'carry' on TJ Ford for doing what every other NBA gaurd does when they palm the ball while dribbling.

I think the key to that call was that TJ lost marbury during that dribble move. I see that if you do that move and you don't loose your defender then they don't call it.

I think the players recognize that he is not a BILL PARCELLS or PAT RILEY figure. He does not command that kind of respect.
