I know CHICO & THE MAN isn't officially on dvd yet but is there anyone out there who could put CHICO AND THE MAN, WELCOME BACK KOTTER & THE MONKEES & anything of Freddie Prinze Sr on dvd for me? I could either pay ya for them (Can't afford to pay a whole lot for them tho) or buy the dvd's for you to put them on. If I went the route of buying the dvd's for you to put them on you'd have to tell me what kind to get & how many to get to put them on & what kind of places have them as I have no idea what kind to get. I do know they have to be ones that play in a regular normal dvd...(Daewoo to be exact).. Thanks!

I got hubby as one of his Christmas presents a vcr with a dvd built in it. So now I'd love to see Freddie in dvd where you can really stop it in slow motion/still... :)

oh Cheryl, I would love to convert all of my VHS to DVD but the latest prices I have seen on DVD burners is like $800!!!! Too rich for my blood.....

Cause about a year ago regular DVD players were up over a hundred dollars and now you can get a decent one for half that, so there is always hope that the burners will come down in price too. I know that the quality of my tapes isn't the greatest, but it would be nice to have them preserved on the DVD format, since VHS tape degredates over time...... I would hate to lose all those shows. :(

I also posted this under the tape trading boards on here in hope that maybe one of the folks over there with a dvd burner might have CATM & be able to put them on dvd for me. It would be ncie to have them on dvd. Maybe one day we hope... :)
