Just thinking out loud...

If C.D. wasn't going to return, why didn't the writers kill her off? I mean, previews lead us to believe she survived the ordeal, but why let her survive if she's not going to return? Wouldn't it be easier just to kill the character off and have Nate upset over her death rather than having him talking and explaining what happened...talking about stuff we'll never see.

Just wondering...maybe they have hope she'll return?

I'm praying that if they didn't kill her off, she will return. I was wondering that, myself. But if she did dump Nate, and they don't plan on bringing her back, I would rather that they had killed her off. At least then, it would be a bittersweet tragedy instead of a beautiful relationship gone down the drain. :(
