I notice that everyone has been trashing the Mike Myers CAT IN THE HAT. May I ask what about it was so terrible? I never got to see it, but I do like Mike Myers movies for the most part (been a fan since the SNL days). I figured it'd probably be a kiddie movie. But the way people have been beating it is as if it was as bad as Gigli or Swept Away.

For those of you who survived Cat In The Hat, what about it is so godawful to be among the worst movies ever made?

Ok, for the warning, this is coming from the person who LOVE Mike Myers and pretty much loves every movie.

I watched the preview and I thought, what could be so bad about this movie? And then I went to see it. I was a second away from walking out. I would have if it weren't for the fact that I was with my family. My youngest sister (9) thought it was ok, but everyone else thought it stunk. Ya know, there were things in it that were funny, ya know, but...I can't explain it, it was just...awful. I really can't give you an exact reason WHY it was so bad, but I hated it.
