Okay, so I've been a Bette Midler fan for about ten years. I've been waiting FOREVER to see this woman in person. And it finally happened last night. It was great. I mean, I got there kinda late and I missed like the first three songs but it was still great. She sang so many great songs and her voice sounded so healthy and strong. And she looks very fit which I honestly was surprised to see because in recent months she hadnt been looking as healthy but whatever...she looked fabulous. She did her Sophie act, which was hilarious. And she did the whole Delores de Lago (The Toast Of Chicago) thing too. She sang some broadway stuff. Good stuff. She even made fun of her own show that was cancelled a few years ago. That was also hilarious. She sang songs from Beaches and The Rose and Gypsy as well. She had Mr.Rogers up on the big screen...she sand with him too.lol.She also sang one or two Rosemary Clooney songs. Bette is such a great talent. Being a fan for such a long time and being able to see her in person was a great experience. If any of you have the chance to see it...GO!

I think Bette Midler is a wonderful singer too. I've never seen any of her concerts- they sound like quite a great show! If she ever does a tour again I'd like to see her. Does Bette joke and talk to the audience and stuff? She's a great comedienne and actress as well- I can't wait till The Stepford Wives is released. There's a rumour that she'll be singing a song with Nicole Kidman and Faith Hill in the movie- I hope it's true.

Yeah. She was joking around with everybody. There were these women dancing around in the front and she was joking with them. She's hilarious.
