Okay, this is so great. I just got home from a long night at my aunt's house, and I felt like I was going to fall over...I'm tired. I was just about to turn off my computer when I noticed I had a PM from Colonel Juke "N" Jive. When he was nice enough to let me know there was finally a Moonlighting board here, I totally woke up. I've been looking for a good Moonlighting forum FOREVER! I'm so excited, and I hope we get some fans here who I can chat with. :D

 David and Maddie Forever!

Hey, Maria!

Well, here's a brief synopsis of my favorite show: :D

Moonlighting ran from 1985-1989. (I wasn't even around when it first aired. :p) It starred Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis, giving Bruce his first prominent acting job. Basically, Cybill played a fleeced ex-model, Maddie Hayes, who had to sell all the businesses she owned to make a little money back. When she got to the Blue Moon detective agency, though, she made a deal with the present owner, David Addison (Bruce), to share the business and work together. (She liked him. ;))

It ran on ABC originally, and Bravo used to run it in syndication, but it got dumped last year. :crying: Right now, it's not playing anywhere.

You'd probably love it, Maria, because it's got that sexual tension that Cheers had. That's why Cheers is a very close second on my list of favorites! :D Gotta love that tension!

Talk to ya soon.

Yeah, it stinks that it's not on TV anymore, but there's a DVD campaign going, so I'm part of that. :D

Those Cheers DVDs are great, because even if Cheers gets taken off the air, we'll always be able to turn to them. ;)

hey chick.
the thing about moonlighting is that when it first came on, it wasn't all about them. i mean, sure dave wanted to rock her world, but that was not the purpose if the show. it was about being detectives, with a twist. as it progressed you could see where they both sorta had it blooming for each other. they had their fling. then she pushed him away and denied her feelings. but dave was deep in love by now. so he keeps tryng as she keeps denying. with a little bit of crime and substorylines with other characters at bluemoon.
you would love it.
